We went to Ikkoryu because my mom wanted something to warm the stomach and I've been craving for instant ramen for a while now (so having legit ramen is better).

I'm not sure if I've mentioned this already in my past reviews but I'm not really a big ramen person - I don't know the different types or ramen, noodles or base, nor search for the best ones like I do when it comes to coffee and my other favorites. But somehow I can tell the difference between a generally good ramen from an instant ramen quality.

Anyway, the first thing I noticed was how nice the menu was. There was a part in the first few pages where they suggest how to enjoy Tonkotsu Ramen in an original way (I didn't even know there was an original way128514). I took the time to read it and I got a little excited to try it for myself.

We got different orders so that we could try different ones then compare which one's better. My brother got the Black Garlic Tonkotsu (380php), I got the Spicy Tobanjan Tonkotsu (380php) and my parents got the Ikkoryu Original Tonkotsu (330php). My other brother wasn't in the mood for ramen so he got the Curry Don (200php) and the Chicken Karaage (180php).
We also got a serving of Gyoza and a salad (which I forgot what it's called but was very good128076🏽).

My ramen had very rich and bold flavors, but it wasn't too spicy for my taste. There were generous slices of pork and toppings too. The staff even asked me how I wanted my noodles to be: soft, or otherwise (I forgot the two terms the staff used but you get what I'm trying to say128517). I didn't know how to choose so I just chose the normal one hehe

Both my parents' and brother's were good too, although of course I preferred mine bec of its spiciness. The Black Garlic had a different smoky flavor than the Original one though.

All in all, this ramen experience was great - my parents liked it here (they rarely like trying new places) so we're probably gonna eat here whenever ramen cravings kick in again.128522

I never liked Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen before as there are far more and better ramen houses. Ikkoryu's ramen tasted too salty and the seasonings seemed not in harmony.

On their recent menu however, I'm glad to have tasted their Yuzu Tama Ramen - a refreshing blend of little spicy and hint of acidity. Perfect for the cold and under the weather times.

Para sa mga Hopeless Ramentic 128513128513 haha! I ordered Ikkoryu Original Tonkotsu Gyoza set. It comes with veggies and iced tea. I forgot the exact price but I think it's around Php 350-400+. I loved the whole set! Most of their ramen cost 350-380 pesos alone so for me, ordering the set is sulit. 128077🏻127836

Their Spicy Ramen & Karaage (Chicken) combo is amazing and affordable. Too bad it's only available during limited times (I think afternoon weekdays? Not sure).

One of the best ramen I've ever tasted. Ordered the usual Ajitama tonkotsu, it's so delicious. I like the broth and the noodles with Tamago. Chicken karaage is also good. Their server was attentive to your needs. Will come back for sure. 127836128523

Good Ramen experience... Miso Tonkotsu has bold flavor because of the miso paste.

I like how the server knows the details of how each Ramen dish is prepared and what ingredients are placed... I think I asked more than 20 questions and she was able to answer all of them.

After the meal... I'm completely satisfied.

This place was an unexpected dinner for two people who just gone 5-6hour travel.
Broth was incredible! i was salivating every after slurp of their thick, tastey delectable broth!
The meat as well was flawless! you can merely break the meat using a light pinch from your chopsticks!9786128522
Noodles were not as accustomed from Japan but never the less taken for granted in terms of quality and taste! 128077128077128077
Veggies and egg i'm guessing really came from Japan because the egg was suprisingly different from local eggs, if not, perhaps someone who really knows a good egg for ramen is cultivating it here..veggies are fresh crunching and yes, sweet!
i will be returning here again with an empty stomach, craving for a delectable broth from a ramen12783610084128525128522

My mom and I were looking for a good ramen place to have dinner after watching a movie and decided to try Ikkoryu as it's apparently new in the area. And also since I'm a curious ramen lover who's been seeing branches of this place sprouting here and there.

We shared a bowl of Spicy Tobanjan Tonkotsu and ordered gyoza on the side. I guess I was a little bit disappointed since I asked for "the spiciest ramen" they have and when I tasted it, I didn't even feel a kick. And it's not just because my palate is no longer that sensitive when it comes to spicy food bec my mom thought it wasn't that spicy too. It was okay, not savory, nothing spectacular. Gyoza was also fine.

Their service is good. The managers are hands on so I think they're trying their best to give impeccable service. But with the quality of ramen, I just couldn't help but compare with Ramen Nagi. 128532 Ikkoryu has more choices though so I'll give this place another try and I'll get something else on the menu next time.
