The price was good but it was too salty for me. There are other places where we can get ramen with the same price but with a better quality. There is a good ramen house called Kaijo steaks and ramen in bf resort that offers great authentic ramen for a good price of less that 240pesos.

Lately, I've been craving ramen because I just had braces. I really can't chew properly so noodles are the next best thing. On my birthday weekend, I told my sister I want noodles for long life so off we go to SM Southmall and settled here.

I ordered the charred garlic, which is my first time and truly, the charred taste is very distinct in the broth, but I really liked it (my sister preferred the classic char siu). Do Not be intimidated by the color because it does not stain on teeth and...

Very pleasantly surprised by my experience at ikkoryu last weeekend! Since my last experience at the ATC branch was a bit bleh, been wary of trying it again. However, gave it another shot and I'm glad!
Not sure though if it's the same as ikkuryo Fukuoka like in aura or it's an offshoot. The Fukuoka wasn't in the name and the prices seem more affordable. Having said that, we ordered almost everything on the menu! I got the black garlic ramen and hubby got the cheese ramen. We also tried their cheese nori gyoza, karaage and fried rice.
Service was good, everyone was courteous and attentive. The ramen arrived first and it was pretty good! The broth is quite light but packed with flavor. The cheese ramen is great for cheese lovers like me, it has mozzarella and Parmesan cheese but be careful as it tends to get a bit salty towards the end.
The gyoza was good as well also the karaage but the rice was a bit tough.
All of the food we ordered was less than php1200! Winner! Will definitely be back!

Finally! A ramen place in SM Southmall. I was intrigued to try this out quickly since it had opened last week. I noticed immediately that it had the same logo with Ikkoryu Fukuoka however the chic interiors were not present. I had to clarify with the store manager if there was a difference between this branch against the other ramen branches that they have in other places. She pointed out that while they belong to the same company, the Ikkoryu branch only brings the best sellers of the ramen place plus additional flavors and food choices that can only be found in this branch. Some of these are the Ebi Tonkotsu Ramen and a wide variety of Gyoza flavors.

I ordered the Ajitama Tonkotsu Ramen. Service was very fast since I got my ramen within minutes after I placed my order. Then, I noticed another difference since their bowl of ramen is smaller and the contents were a little less than the original bowl which also explains why the prices were cheaper. Overall, I still liked my ramen bowl. It is still filling enough even though it had less pork, soup and noodles.

Will come back next time to try their gyozas!
