βœ… High-ceilings and well-ventilated
βœ… Multiple choices for meals - rice, noodles, sandwich choices
βœ… Pasalubong corner
❌ Drop-off baggage counter for those who checked-in online was closed. And nobody to assist

Traveling with my son is always an adventure. I also find out how friendly spaces are to kids when I am with him. The Iloilo International Airport is friendly enough...it is like the Centennial 2/NAIA 2 airport but smaller and with more affordable places to eat at (ex. JD's which has cheap rice meals, under php100 and a little over).

Since my last trip two years ago, the airport has added restos. The coffee section where CoffeeBreak is and two other mini drink and snack sections are (after JD's), provides nice sofa lounges. We sat there but opted for the chair and round table one (my son needed more space for his cars -- see pic hahah).

Despite the delay in our flight going back to Manila, the wait was not so bad. TVs everywhere to watch basketball or whatever was on. Souvenir shops in pre-departure area also make for a good mini shopping adventure and you can also dine there.

Incidentally, Iloilo is now a "no-smoking zone" or city just like Davao. There are designated spaces for smoking as well. Residents can smoke in their homes, if they so wish. I did not check if smoking lounges were provided at the airport but presumed that the farthest lounge remains the smoking lounge 'til today. Good thing I quit 3 years ago. :)

The roads to the airport are now 4-lane roads with good lighting. Vast improvement since two years ago. Bravo, Iloilo!

Small but clean and I loved how all the food offerings were very affordable and will make you ask "is this really an airport?" Hehehe

One of the bigger local airports i've been to. It's pretty far from the city proper. You will need to take a cab or some van drivers offer their ride to go to the city. We paid around 150 each (times 4).

For a provincial airport, Iloilo International was pretty amazeballs. Lots of seating, clean restrooms and some pretty decent concessions. Our experience here was hassle-free. Good job, Iloilo International Airport!

Was surprised to find that this airport looked like NAIA Terminal 1 (but a smaller version thereof). It was clean, chairs and air conditioning were in good condition, they had several smoking areas and food concessionaires as well. Note that smoking is prohibited in public places in Iloilo City so it was such a relief to find that this airport had at least 2 smoking areas.

The best provincial int'l airport i've seen (next would be davao). Very classy, spacious, clean and somehow familiar to NAIA 2. Seats are well maintained but just few food establishments in the boarding area. Worth it for every peso you paid for the terminal fee.

I really like this airport in visayas area.

NAIA 2 feels. I guess limited number of passengers in Iloilo.

Very clean and neat airport. Keep it up! :)

I think Ilo-Ilo has one the best airports in the Philippines. I only expected that they will have the basic amenities but they do have upgraded already for the benefit of the travellers! I liked the fact that an ati-atihan grouped welcomed us when we have arrived in the airport.

I must say that the Iloilo International Airport is one of my favorite airports.

Compared to the old airport, this is much bigger and cleaner. It was easier to check in your stuff and you are able to relax properly while waiting for your plane to arrive. When you want to have a meal or snacl, there are stalls avaialble but of course it is limited. What I didn't like was the terminal fee.

I shall come back to Iloilo and have an adventure ! 128522

The airport is clean but what I didn't like was the terminal fee of 200 for domestic and 550 for international. 128553
