First time at IMAX Moa and watched DOCTOR STRANGE on its first night. Omygod, it's visually stunning, whether you are a Marvel fan or not, you just have to watch it in 3D!

Things I liked about this Cinema:
✔️ Clean
✔️ Very Spacious Lounge Area
✔️ Tickets can be booked online without an additional charge
✔️ Huge 3D Glasses and looks sanitized (Didn't have any funky smell)

One movie costs around P450 which I find so sulit especially if the movie you're watching is shot in 3D.
I just can explain how thankful I am making the right decision to watch Doctor Strange in 3D with all the magical powers and fantastic tricks it's definitely best to watch it here!

So far, it is still the best and true IMAX Theater in the Philippines. All the movies I watch here are in analogue 70mm/15perf film. The last one I watched here was Interstellar.

I remember when it first opened, we were the first ones to try it. It's part of our Field Trip. Hahahaha. The seats were sp fresh and brand new, so is the glasses. The sound was good and so is the movie. I can't remember the title bit it's an under the sea kind of film. It was so awesome.

The first time IMAX opened in MoA everyone wants to try it and see the biggest screen with high definition. You'll feel like a small creature inside the theater and it is really fun to watch in IMAX, what made this review a 3 star is that upon entering the cinema you can somehow smell the CR, not sure if it's the comfort room pero yun may mabahong amoy, and if you get the best seats in the middle it is difficult to go to the comfort room because of the number of seats that you need to pass by before you get to the isle, plus it's a little expensive.

The first ever IMAX theater in the country.

They were able to maintain the good quality of their Cinema and one of the biggest in Asia. Comfortable seats, great sound system and exceptional entertainment 127775127775127775127775

It's my first time to watch a movie here at iMax, MOA. Yey! Haha My friend insisted on watching Interstellar coz iMax MOA brings back it's 70mm projection system for the said movie. Christopher Nolan, the director of the movie, used an iMax film cameras on some portions of the movie to capture the crispness and clarity of the image and gives the audience a truly cinematic and enhanced experience.

Since it was my first time, I was really excited to watch it on 3D. I was kinda disappointed that we were not handed a 3D glasses and will be just watching it on 2D instead. But I was wrong, the movie experienced was really great. The movie maximized the whole screen of the iMax and still have a good picture. 128077128077128077

Those random moments you just want to be alone with some strangers and care less about how your day transpired.

So the best thing to do? Catch a movie alone!

I was torn between Catching Fire and Frozen but having read The Hunger Games series, I thought I have an obligation to watch the movie series, too.

Right after patiently waiting for my turn, luckily, I had reserved my seat and we were allowed to enter the cinema few minutes before the scheduled time. I had time to sit down, relax and let myself drown to a moment of nostalgia. There's something about dim lights. 128542

My thoughts were interrupted when movie goers came in. I was sandwiched by couples/lovers left and right. Oh! That's what I get from being alone. Lol.

Like any other SM Cinemas, I had also prepared myself for the not-so behaved crowd. Opinions, repititions and some minions. You wished for it, right, Bernadette?!

Nevertheless, I enjoyed the movie and the night I had a date with myself. In the first place, I wished for that crowd. Lol

This Cinema boasts one of the biggest screen if not the biggest of its kind in the country. The picture quality is good but they use the old 3D Glasses which makes the moving picture blurred at some points. Definitely a must try for an experience you can share with friends and family

I saw Man of Steel here for the second time, this time I'm with present colleagues. I originally wanted to watch Man of Steel on IMAX 3D but my friends don't have enough budget for it. So I watched it again when colleagues asked if I want to join them.

Compared to GB3 Cinemas and Eastwood Citywalk, the ratio of ads and trailers here is in between the two mentioned cinema houses. I just love watching trailers here, especially CG movies, since they're in 3D!

I just don't like the fit of their 3D glasses here though compared in Greenhills Promenade Cinemas.

We didnt have to worry about seats bcuz we bought online which is prolly the only plus to SM Cinemas. The waiting area, concession and bathrooms are horribly placed. Service at the snack bar was horrible and they tried to add extra charges to what we ordered.

Luckily the movie was great, Man Of Steel. Would have been nice if the aircon worked properly. Was to warm making it harder to enjoy.

Watched Iron Man 3! Place was jam packed by the time we got there but we didn't have to fall in line for so long.

The letdown: food took so long we were about 20 minutes into the movie before our food got there. Poor little cousins of mine who were thirsty, poor employees who suffered my wrath because of the delay.

They should improve their service and upgrade their 3D glasses. They're a bit old school considering they were the same ones being used way back when I first watched here about six years ago.

But Robert Downey Jr. is such a sexy beast. Just saying.

Love IMAX theaters! It may be the best thing that Canada has ever invented. Lol! 128513

So this one is sponsored by San Miguel Coca Cola to lower the ticket prices. To make it more affordable for everyone. Imax in the US is quite expensive. It can set you back in the $20-$30 range depending which State. Here it also varies somewhere between P250-P400 depending if the feature is partially shot in imax like the Dark knight Rises, full imax, imax 3D, or just regular non imax format.

Theater is huge and the screen takes up your entire range of your personal viewing angle.
Its always a fun experience. Too bad its so far from where I live. Can't wait to try the fairly new imax theater in SM north edsa and the plan in progress branch in SM Megamall.

Watched The Hobbit yesterday! It was awesome. I won't comment about the movie itself since this is about imax and not the hobbit. :)

Great seats, really soft, could've fallen asleep had it been a boring movie... no screaming or crying kids 128077

A little bit pricey but all in all a great experience.
