Marcos Island was named after the former President Ferdinand Marcos and is one of the islands that tourists can visit. I've read that some weren't able to visit the island due to the big waves. Luckily, a good weather welcomed us and we were able to explore this island during our tour.
A 50-meter trail climb would give you an access to a picturesque view of the island's beach. The end part of the trail is a big hole which is the entrance to Imelda Cave - named after Imelda Marcos.
You can jump as high as 20 feet and as low as 8-12 feet. The emerald crystal clear pool is 70 feet below and if you don't know how to swim like me, they have a life vest ready for us. The only way out is through the cave where you can snorkel back to the beach.
I regret to say that I did not gather enough courage to give it a try. Maybe next time.
