Oh Sagada! I terribly miss you!

Last year's visit was the most memorable from all my sagada experience. We tried booking for residential inn, we're one of it's patronizers, but even of the two months advance booking we had they were already full for our visit dates. :( good thing mama mary (the owner of the residential inn) recommended the hotel in front, indigenous. We had the family room for 300 per head per night, and good thing about the hotel was, it's new.

May I just warn you, hotels doesn't have a/c because of the cold weather here, but on a summer months they could lend you their fans. Indigenous has clean rooms and comfortable beds with good ventilation in case the cold weather doesn't get in. Our room was in front of the street and so we have this veranda over looking the streets and mountains at the back, a nice view to chill out with friends. There was a comfort room inside our room, equipped with a cold and hot shower, the most helpful piece of equipment on places like this. They also got tables and mirrors for you and a mini kitchen sink at the corner of the room right next to the cr. a pretty non-extravagant room that we can make do for a humble place like sagada.

Negatives for the place would be too little electric outlets in the room considering it was a family size, it ended them lending us extension cords. They also have a bad internet connection so wifi doesn't get to our room even it was just two stories up from the lobby, pretty bad reception even when your at the lobby.

They got a pretty spacious dining area that will be good for 10-12 persons so if you're planning to use it, especially if you're on a big group make sure that you get the area first cause waiting for the other groups to finish would be a real waste of time.

A kitchen is also available for use with a 100 peso charge for the whole day of use.

The staffs are very helpful and accommodating too. So, this is second on my list for a cheap but good stay for sagada tourists :)
