Matcha Frappe to go!

Asked brother to buy umbrella and I was craving for matcha cold drinks having sorethroat for 4 days the past week. Checked looloo for milktea stores in Robinsons Place Metro East.

Available was Matcha Frappe cold, no add on like. red bean - sayang! No hint of matcha but it was milky, creamy. It was ok but umay na after 3/4 of drink. Cant finish the large cup.

This Infinitea branch is just outside the Main Hall of the Victory Christian Fellowship in Robinsons Metro East whose services is attended by about a few hundred people every 2 hours. Obviously, this branch is bustling during weekends, something that every business owner wants and somehow dreads because this will also test the capacity and efficiency of their staff and equipment.

Thankfully, even if there were very seldom vacant seats, the staff can still give your order without making you wait forever. They also get it correctly despite the noise and confusion (sometimes the line gets confusing since people are in groups). Oh, and they don't forget to serve their smiles, too, despite their busy work life.

Infinitea offers a wide variety of tea drinks - fruit tea, original tea, milk tea, ice series and frappe. They also have non-tea choices like lemonade and hot drinks. So far, I've tried at least one from each of the tea lines except for the frappe (which I'm planning to try next week) and the ice series. Daughter will try out their Milo Godzilla next time around to see if it's the same as the one we make at home daw.

Yesterday, I ordered their black tea with honey lemon (P50) from their original tea line while my niece and daughter shared a green apple fruit tea (P50), which you can turn into a yogurt drink/slush by just adding P10-15 more. Both drinks were refreshing on a hot afternoon although mine is a bit too strong for the kids. Since it's not a milk tea, you can really taste the black tea flavors. The daughter and niece didn't like it, haha, but if you're a tea enthusiast like me, I'm sure you will appreciate tasting the real tea flavors in that drink. Tea flavors are often diluted with milk teas, so it's better to order the original tea flavors if you're planning to taste the real tea flavors. But sorry to say, their original tea line is not comprehensive as they only have oolong, black tea, and jasmine green tea.

For an ala carte branch, there is ample comfortable seating although I personally would prefer for them to have a bigger walled-in place for more seats and stronger A/C; they depend on the mall A/C that really cannot handle the Sunday crowd in the area. And the place gets noisy so don't expect to have a nice quiet conversation here. Since it's not walled in, you can hear all the mall noise.

THUMBS UP: Variety of flavors, value for money, efficient service with a smile, comfy and ample seating

THUMBS DOWN: Crowded, noisy and warm since they are not walled-in and depend only on the mall A/C.

The Oreo milktea I ordered was just okay, and nothing really extraordinary about it. And comfortably sitting on one of their couches felt like I was a goldfish in an aquarium, being viewed by passers-by.
