If you're looking for a place to refresh and relax in the province of Oriental Mindoro, aside from the beautiful beaches of Puerto Galera, then this nature's best kept secret in Baco called Infinity Farm is the perfect place for you.
I was so mesmerized when I followed the river upstream. The water is so clear and cold, and the ambiance is very peaceful, makes me don't want to leave the place. Too bad, staying overnight is not allowed in the place and it is only open until 5 in the afternoon.
This is my new favorite place right now in Oriental Mindoro and I will always come back here whenever I visit the province.

Aside from beautiful beach resorts in Puerto Galera, Mindoro has more to offer. We found this beautiful river with fresh and clear water from the mountain top. Nature-lovers must include this on their summer bucket list. When I first heard the name, I thought that it was literally a farm with crops, animals and all. Haha! I don’t know why it was named as such. I assume that “infinity” is for the water that flows endlessly.
I went there last week with my colleagues. From Batangas Port, we had a 1hr ferry boat ride (Supercat) going to Calapan, Mindoro. Fare costs around Php 280. From Calapan Port, we were fetched by my friend’s parents and they brought us to Baco, where Infinity Farm was located. It took approximately 30 minutes from the port to the farm. When we arrived, the staff asked us to pay Php 100 each as entrance fee. Before seeing the river, we saw huge green trees at the foot of the mountain. The water was clear and the sound from it was so relaxing.
There are cottages and tables beside the river at different levels as you go up the mountain. We chose to stay at the cottage on the upper part of the river since the view is more beautiful and it was not yet occupied. The lower parts were usually the first ones to be occupied. There are more groups of people swimming on that part. You can bring any food and drinks that you want.
The picture above only shows the view from our cottage. (There’s a lot more!!!) As I said earlier, there are different levels so it looks different depending on where you stay. Nasolo namin yang part na yan for 2 hours I think. It is good to go there early so that you can have more choices on which part to stay.
It was not so hot since there are many trees and we arrived there early. The water was oh so cold that the group near us submerged their case of beer in it. ) The layers of the river resembled some mini-falls with crystal clear water. Staying under those mini-falls was therapeutic and refreshing!
If you’re planning to go to Mindoro to visit Puerto Galera, you might want to visit this place too. It is more peaceful here since it’s less crowded and the place is relaxing.
