Oh how I loved our daytrip here.️
It took us around 20-30 minutes to reach this place from the city proper. It was an easy trip since there was no traffic.
Irawan Ecopark is tagged as the place of Asia's longest canopy zipline with the total distance of 1.3km. We tried it and it was soooo cool! It was not a full 1.3km straight ride though; it was divided into three: 900m, 300m, and 100m. You can either be in a sitting or superman position while riding. I kinda got scared when I stopped a few meters before the 2nd landing. The ranger told me, "ang gaan mo pala ma'am kaya ka tumigil".
After the zipline we tried their canopy walk/ skywalk. Gahd, buwis buhay haha only one side had a rope you can hold on to, and while you walk, the path moves so much it will make you feel like you're going to fall.
We also tried their tarzan swing where you'll be in a sitting position, attached to a rope, then swing your way back and forth. It was great too! Sayang lang kasi pwede pala mag invert pero di ako sinabihan
Our last activity was the fish feeding at their small lagoon. It was a good experience too. It felt like we were at a fish spa.
This is definitely a place you should visit when you're in Puerto Princesa.
