Hubby has his habit of asking me where I want to go on Sunday. So I answered him plainly, “Isabelo Garden”. Surprisingly, hubby agreed and made a reservation for 2. It was an online reservation where we placed our orders as well. We ordered Ceasar Salad, Ali di Pollo w/ Bleu Cheese Coleslaw (Buffalo Wings), Lemon Shrimp Linguine and Honey Bacon Pizza.

Sunday - We reached their place before 6PM and I was able to take some pictures of the place before it gets crowded. Their well-crafted items for decoration made the ambience so lovely. Our table was set outside and that was our mistake. Our server had to place an electric fan since I was complaining about the “lamok”. If you want a lamok-free dinner, you can ask them to set your table in their air-conditioned room.

As for our food, all were great and good for sharing. We enjoyed every dish served to us. A bit pricey, but worth it. Hubby asked if we can come here again so he could try their breakfast menu. Well, that’s for my next review. 128516

Good place for intimate and romantic celebrations! Spent our 5th year anniversary dinner in one of the gazebos, with dim lightings and garden-y effect for plus factors. Food was great as well, I particularly loved the baked oysters (generous serving as well, 10pcs for 285) and the eggplant parmigiana! Yum! :) dinner is thru reservation only, no walk-ins allowed. Big space, few diners, nice ambiance, yummy food. Perfect for bonding time :D

had dinner here last Sunday and i was really pleased that there were no customers yet when we arrived. i reserved a table for two at 7pm but we arrived early and was served immediately after we were seated. it was a great feeling when we had the resto for ourselves for an hour.

roasted pepper and squash soup was a bit watery but the taste was good. sweet and lightly seasoned.

caesar salad was a bit salty imo. but the serving was a lot. I'm not sure if there's fish sauce in the dressing.

salmon was okay. nothing spectacular.

the key lime pie was good however the bitter after taste of the lemon rind was too much for me.

the bf loved the spinach artichoke dip. it was creamy and well seasoned.

the total experience is not just about the food but the cute garden setting that isabelo garden offers. the place is romantic specially the gazebo area. this is a good place to really enjoy dinner with your special someone.

This not so hidden gem in Markina was our destination for our cousin's bridal shower. This is such an interesting place because I have read a lot about this place in looloo and I have always wanted to check it out. But little did I know, the place I was expecting is on the same venue but it's a different place altogether. Confusing right?

That's because this place is called Rustic Mornings by Isabelo during daytime and Isabelo Garden during nighttime. They serve breakfast food during the day and it's for reservations only during dinner. The place has a rustic feel, and that's probably why it's called the way it's called. It's a nice destination thing for those wanting to try something different that requires you to travel but at the same time, it does not really require a long drive as, say, Tagaytay. It's a nice place and the food is good too, I mean, it's not just good, it's great. My cousins and I are watching our diet becuase of the wedding coming up but we went back a couple of times for the food. They served a simple menu but the food was delicious, from the soup, salad, main course, we all loved it. The drive all the way to Marikina is soooo worth it. Makes me even more curious to try Rustic Mornings. 128516128516128516

The Gazebo where we had our dinner was very intimate and romantic! 128525

For appetizer we had their famous spinach artichoke dip with toasted bread and my, no wonder it is famous! The dip was cheesy-creamy and perfectly done! The best spinach artichoke i had so far 128525

For our entree, we had their famous pork crackling which has a very huge serving! 128586 prolly good for 4-5 persons. It was perfectly cooked and the herbs were well infused to the soft meat 128523 the dips that go with it suit the pork perfectly! My fave was their mango salsa which has a sweet kick 128521

We also had their wild mushrooms with bleu cheese flat pizza which was soft and very cheesy. Nicholas S really liked it 128522

For dessert we had their lava cake because their famous key lime pie was already sold out but still, it was a perfecting ending to our full course dinner! It was sweet but not too sweet and the ice cream melted perfectly on top of the warm and very moist chocolate cake 128525 ghaad i wanna go back!!

Servers were attentive enough and friendly 128522

A very romantic place that would really give you a happy-happy palate and tummy 128077

Home-cooked food at it's best. Definitely yummy and value for money considering the quality of food served to us. The garden ambience also made it just a little bit more charming than the usual hole-in-the-wall resto.

We had the Baked Oysters and the Spinach Artichoke Dip for starters and the dip was as good as everyone said it would be. We also has the Roasted vegetable salad, lemon parsley rice, Beef ribs with blue cheese, salmon steak, 4 cheese pizza and truffle pasta. I know it sounds like a lot of food, but we were a group of six. Our favorite was definitely the Beef ribs which were super tender and made special with the blue cheese dip.

For dessert we had the choco lava cake, watermelon sorbet and the best key lime pie ever.

Definitely worth the try. Will be back if ever we find ourselves somewhere in Marikina.

I live in marikina but it was just last week that i visited isabelo garden resto! not even rustic mornings! I loved the place! It's like antonio's in tagaytay that when you enter their gates, you'd feel like you're in a different place already! It rained that night but boyf and i still insisted that we eat outside :)

Boyf surprised me with dinner so i really didn't know what he ordered until they served 'em.
Tonight, i'm craving for spinach artichoke dip! I loved it! I even told him that i want to go back and order this again with wine! also loved the bread they served it with!

Then we had lemon shrimp linguine and orange herb chicken with roasted vegetables. The pasta was okay, not really a fan. But he ordered it cos i love shrimps! :)) then chicken was also delish! Really juicy! great match with the roasted vegetables! :) p.s. I really loved the dip that i even mixed the left over with the potatoes! Haha.

Will definitely go back here and bring our friends. I have yet to try their rustic mornings experience, been reading good reviews about it :)

Just a reminder, if you're planning to get tables outside make sure to bring insect repellents with you specially this rainy season. I think i had few mosquito bites during our dinner :P

Surprise date night at Isabelo Gardens. You must have a reservation and pre order your dinner when you go here. The place is breathe taking. Nicely lit and well decorated. We ordered lamb steak, pumpkin soup and the oyster Rockefeller. The food was okay, but you really come here for the ambiance. An exception was the KEY LIME PIE, which was the winning dish of the night.

A dinner for two would be around 800-1500.

It's hidden away in old ancestral compound within Marikina and you have to register and call in advance (min 3 days) to get a slot. This place is perfect for private intimate dining with your significant other, family Sunday dinners. Place is serene, calm, shabby chic. It's a destination restaurant nevertheless, it's the primary reason why I go back to this place. Food is okay, I normally order the lamb steak, grilled salmon and lemon pasta. Taste and presentation wise it's satisfactory, but nothing niche. Singling out one dessert though; they have the BEST key lime pie in Manila. It's clean, crisp and soft on the palate. If you want to impress someone and you are on your second date, this place is highly recommended.

My partner invited me to have dinner at Isabelo's last night. The name sounds familiar, i thought. I can't stop my curiosity so i asked mr. Google. 128540 When i read the reviews and saw some pics, i remembered that i came across the name Isabelo's in one of those days when I try to search and look for good places to eat.

Isabelo's is a secret garden. But i guess not so much of a secret anymore because of too many people writing or blogging about it. You should make a reservation earlier if you want to enjoy most of their food. They serve some which needs about 4-6 hours to prepare. Every night, they offer different sets of food.

We had their famous spinach artichoke dip for appetizer. It is so creamy and really yummy. I believe this dip paved the way to Isabelo's. The owner Portia who bakes it used to sell it to her friends and officemates back in the day when she was still working for an advertising firm.

That night, they served Truffle Pasta! 128077128077128077. It's really good. My partner liked it so much and almost didn't eat the pizza we ordered.

You'll be surprised by it's location. It is not hard to find. It is located in the heart of Marikina City, near the OTTO building at JP Rizal Street.

They also do Rustic Mornings by Isabelo's which runs from 8am to 4am. They offer food different from what they server during the night. We will definitely try it one of these days.

We went here last year for a surprise dinner. Hindi ako prepared! I was just in a friggin shirt! Lol 128514

Rustic Mornings by day, Secret Garden by night. You need a reservation if you want to enjoy their food, they don't accept walk-ins.🚫

The place is just the most unique restaurant I had ever been. No room was the same and everywhere you look there's a different theme/art presented. Servers were very attentive as well. It helped that they only had 2 or 3 groups serving. 128539 They also had this bell to call their attention.

We had a full course meal. 128055 Generous serving and everything was divine. Fresh ingredients + ingenious cooking = Happy Customer! 128525 Dami naming tira tho cuz we just couldn't finish everything. We shouldnt have had lunch! 128517

I think the place was pricy but I guess the experience made up for it.

Went here last Saturday for my sister-in-law's civil wedding. All I can say is the place is so lovely! Decorations are varied but everything seemed to be recycled. It's amazing how they managed to put these old stuff together and actually come up with an overall brilliant feel.

Since it was sit-down wedding reception, I didn't know the names of the food we devoured. Let me just try my best to describe them. (Note that these are not the official names of the dishes)

>Perfectly toasted bread with their spinach artichoke dip - the best dip I ever tasted. I wanted to take an entire bowl of it. Yum!

>Salad with cashews and sweet vinaigrette dressing - not a fan of salads but this was just ok for me.

>Eggplant Cheese Casserole - im not a veggie eater but I loved this one!! The melted cheese made me forget there's eggplant and veggies in the dish. Yummy.

Baked oysters- saraaaaaap. Enough said.

Pork knuckles - skin was crisp to perfection but some parts of the pork meat was not so tender. It was flavorful, nonetheless. This came with four different sauces. (Forgot them, sorry)

Barbecue Chicken with Mashed potato- just ok for me.

Spaghetti- i am not really sure what type of dish this was. But it certainly is not the ordinary pasta dish. It was on the tangy, strong, dark tomato side. It was ok.

Angel hair pasta in oil with shrimps and parmesan cheese- i liked this better than the former pasta. Generous serving of shrimps too!

Baked Salmon - one of my faves!! It was so soft, flavorful and satisfying. Highly recommended!

Key lime pie- the bomb!! The perfect palate cleanser. The combination of the sweet crust, sour lime and perfectly whipped cream was divine! I ate two slices! Yay!

Servers were all friendly except for one snobbish-looking lady to whom I requested an extra chair for my son. Deadma si ate (although she acknowledged my request). I just asked another server who promptly catered to my request.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for date nights, first date, quiet family/friends dinner-outs. :)

M took me here for dinner. I looooove the place and their food! I love everything from appetizer to dessert. Let me talk about their CAESAR SALAD. It's the BEST CAESAR SALAD EVER!!! I am a fan of The Manor's Caesar Salad BUT Isabelo's very own caesar salad already got the crown128081 M who doesnt eat veggies, even agreed with me. He liked it too! He said he will start eating veggies if I can make the same dressing. It was really good128525128525128525

We had pasta and pizza. I love their parmigiano carbonara. The pesto was just okay. Maybe its because I prefer dry pesto sauce. We had creamy chicken pesto and M loved it!:) The pizza was good too.

For dessert, we had chocolate molten lava and I fell in love10084️ Since it has strawberry syrup and to M's disadvantage, I got to eat more than half of the serving. Haha!

It was a lovely date. We would definitely come back10084

p.s. I also want to go back for breakfast!9728

Care for a unique date in a suburb of the Metro? Here it is. Either you try out their Rustic Mornings or book their signature pre-set dinner, it's an experience on your palate. Its classic garden setting sets the mood and keeps it relaxed all day; being tranquilized by the sound of capiz shells and colored bottles as chimes. Free wifi and limited parking. A MUST try esp for couples during special occasions as it is a little costly. A very photogenic place.

you'll love it here because of the garden ambience especially for those who are done with the usual restaurant dating in hotels or anywhere enclosed by walls. Plus the fact that they don't accept walk-in clients and you should reserve a week before, get to choose what food to prepare on your desired day and must wear an appropriate attire makes you feel like a VIP. Though you might get lost in Marikina looking for it coz it's not located near any main street.
the picture featured was may favorite among the course, i forgot what it is called but it is bread (panini, i think) with cheese and artichoke dip (appetizer). also their salad was tasteful it has these special croutons which added to the flavor. try also their pasta and chicken, well basically everything is yummy!
try bringing your loved one/s there sometime 10084
