Apparently, this restau has like 2 or 3 other names which serves more or less same but limited stuff. Best to call them if you want something from their menu as It can get very confusing & frustrating when you think you're heading to a branch which serve something you like from them and they tell you, it's not avail there🙄.

Anyway, had a sudden interest here when I came across their booth at the airport. Bought some of the puto's that seemed so inviting. When I wanted to try it already, that's when I found out my good 'ol bf forgot it somewhere at the airport. I was so frustrated since I really wanted to try if they were good & , I just like puto.. A lot lol! He wanted to make up for it and searched where else we can get them aside from the airport. Lo & behold, the ever boring rob lp has it! So we sched a date there...

I was so excited I ordered almost all the puto flavors to try there (read: may kagat lahat128513) and bring some back home if it was good... And my gad. I should've just forgotten about it. It tasted extra duper moist and dense not in a good way but like wet & uncooked type but it wasn't, like it's hiw they just made it. I don't even get the flavors their supposed to have except for some basic ones like the ube-cheese, chocolate, corn and pandan. There was even a premium flavor too - the salted egg which was around P45 freaking pesos a piece! There was barely salted egg in it! The pastillas flavors were oddly sticky but no distinct flavor. Kala ko pa naman, puto with bursting flavors kasi pricey! Seemed like I just helped my healthy cells a lot by ingesting much food coloring lang! 128527...

On to the food, we ordered pancit lucban, arroz caldo, beef pares and lechon macau. I think, the food made up for it. Everything was like "kanto" style food but a notch better since they used better ingredients and must be, hopefully safer to eat lol. Most of it was greasy but I wasn't giving any f's that day. The lechon macau wasn't macau style but more like fried liempo that was paired with rice seasoned with knorr. College days reminiscing! As for the arroz caldo, it was terrible! Tasted stale and a bit stinky. The pares though is what sold me. It was really good! Very close to the traditional ones we get from pares house. It was sticky, sweet and salty. Generous serving too. I'm def having this when I go back. As for the pancit lucban, that was a first try for me so I don't know how it's supposed to be but I liked their version. Just way too greasy still. Loved that you add vinegar to it too!

I ordered some desserts too, out of frustration from the puto. The ube-flan, halo-halo and sago't gulaman. The ube flan was like insanely thick and sweet. Very cloying but I can't seem to stop eating it. The halo-halo was like a smoothie with added halo-halo ingredients. Super unusual but meh.

So there goes the night for me and bf. Yup, there was only two of us. I know. We're pigs. Hahaha.
