Winner Japanese dinner here at Izakaya Kenta Banawe! My friend and I enjoyed their cheap bento set!
I had the Beef Yakiniku bento (Php 185) and half of the Tonkotsu Ramen (Php 350). In all fairness, the bento meals are filling given the cheap price. The beef slices were tender and juicy. The sauce was a balance of sweet and savory which I enjoyed.
The ramen was okay for the price but quite underwhelming if compared with other famous ramen joints. The noodles had a bite to it, which I liked. The chashu is tender and tasty, tho quite lacking that “roasted” taste. The soup was not too creamy.
Overall, the dining experience was delightful and I would definitely go back to try their other offerings.
4 hungry stars!

Authentic Japanese food, pricey but worth it, service and presentation is just ok. Taste is just the same as other authentic japanese resto.

Since i've been to japan a couple of times, this is the closest it could get to the real food of japan! I've tried their Tori Karaage, Ebi Tempura, Salmon Onigiri! Simply the best. The tempura was still crunchy and hot even after a while being on the table. The Tori Karaage( deep fried chicken thighs) are the best by far from all the places i've tried. Goes well with hot mustard. A must try also are their desserts, egg custard and home-made mochi. I will definitely go back!

The place was nice, very zen
Ordered uni and salmon sashimi, miso soup, tempura and okonomiyaki
Tempura arrived first which was weird, the tempura sauce was too salty
Uni was excellently fresh but the salmon was pale and frozen:(
Okonomiyaki was very good not too much flour or cabbage just the right amounts of everything
Overall its too expensive spending P1600++ with th waitresses noisily talking while customers were eating
