For the fans of this secret shawarma place, you're probably wondering where these guys relocated. The answer: down
south in Taguig, at a street called Levi Mariano Ave or Cayetano Blvd. (whatever street it's called nowadays).

They still serve the same old favorites with the same quality. And they're still open till late in the evening. Perfect for those recovering from hang overs this season.

The food is good. Always fresh and satisfying. I ordered beef shawarma with kuskus (as seen in the photo). The flavour is unique, the beef moist and tender and they serve it hot. Need some work in the presentation department though. But who cares? Authentic Turkish Shawarma at PhP200 is quite a bargain.

Loved the beef and lamb shawarma. :) They've got big servings too. They've got 8inch and 12inch shawarmas that are more than enough to fill you up. Best to just get shawarma for take out since the place isn't that big and it's quite warm inside too.

You can feel the authenticity of the place as you enter.the shawarmas are pretty awesome. If you're lucky, you'll see jacob or he'll make your shawarma himself! ;)

Hole in the wall shawarma joint, no pretensions just you and your meat. My friend Aldous V ordered beef shawarma kebab (so i think), the bread was really good, slight crunchy slight soft with panini like grill marks. Good value for money at 200Php shared by 3 hungry hippos. Nommms..

Sorry i forgot to take pictures but this is your hole in the wall shawarma place that tastes authentic turkish...
If u love spices this is the place to be. They serve chicken/beef/fish on different days so that makes it a little weird. Serving is generous u can split the chicken kebab in half for only php200 with a choice of pita, Couscous rice or turkish rice.
We also ordered d turkish pizza 8" for php140 only which was kinda different because they roll the pizza it was also very filling with beef and veggies and d combination of yogurt sauce, chili sauce and mayo-ish sauce.
Get water instead of the homemade apple juice, it tasted grainy not really well mixed.
Ambiance well not really well maintained, it has high ceiling which i guess helps with ventilation. There were murals of turkish food and a vandalism wall with signatures of visitors who ate at the place. Music was turkish as well so i guess u get the overall turkish sidewalk experience...
5/5 for food plus they are open 24hrs so probably a competitor for my favorite mister kabab after drinks place...

If you're a big shawarma fan, this place is for you. They have big servings and their shawarma is different from the usual shawarma since it's Turkish! Since I'm not a big eater, I had to share my shawarma with my friend:)

If I would rate this solely for the food, I would give it 4 stars. I mean, I haven't be to Turkey, but I've tasted other Turkish food and this joint definitely serves that. What's nice about their menu is that they don't have it the same for 2days straight, they have a new list for each day.

I ordered their Turkish Chicken Kebab with couscous for P200 (their rice wasn't cooked yet, and that was around 12noon already) while boyfie had the Turkish Beef Kebab also with couscous.
I didn't expect it to be very filling and I liked that the couscous was a bit spicy. I also loved the salad/salsa on the side. The beef was a bit chewy, though.

The place was not very well maintained. They had low tables wrapped in tarpauline(?.. Well it looked like it) which the colors were a bit worn out, the same with the colors of the upholstery. The walls were filled with signatures/ autographs which kind of made it look less tidy. When we got in it was hot inside what with only one AC (way way up in the high ceiling) and them cooking inside the same room. It wasn't until 30minutes later that it started to cool down. They played Turkish(? ..foreign language) songs for almost the entire time until the owner went out and the waiter turned it off.

Oh, when we got out there, up 'til I got back to the office I smelled like shawarma. They need a better ventilation system.

I would recommend their food, I'd come back for it, but I advise that you order it for take out. 128522128077

It's been a long time since I made a Looloo review.

I've received a bunch of recommendations for Jacob's Shawarma. Naturally, I tried it dahil madali akong maimpluwensyahan ng reviews. I went there on a Wednesday. (They serve specific dishes for a specific day--but Beef Shawarma was available at that day.)

First, I wasn't informed that the Beef Shawarma was good for two people so I was forced to eat them all. (Buti na lang hindi ako nag-order ng Shawarma Rice pa.)

Beef shawarma was okay, less greasy than the usual kanto stall shawarma, nothing special. A bit pricey for me, I guess.

Home-made tea tasted like Cattleya extract (don't ask me how I came to know what Cattleya tasted like, I was just a kid then, ok? Haha.)

Place is a small. I don't understand the aesthetic goal of the vandalism on the wall, but overall experience is pwede na.

Maybe I'll try the Jacob's Shawarma experience again on a Saturday.

AMBIANCE AND INTERIOR:
Well the interior.not so good the chairs are all worn out due to the users and age of the place. Their tables are covered with red white stripes pattern tarpauline. They have a high ceiling how i wish they could just put a mezannine floor to save some space.

The smell of their restaurant has a scent of onion that kinda makes my eyes tear.(i have a sesitive eyes) its too quiet, they dont have music when i came in. Then i requested for a music to lighten up the mood in there.

FOOD:
Well the food is alright not your typical shawarma on the streets that is hard to chew and hard to swallow. The meat is soft and tender (beef and lamb) with vegtables inside well to compliment the meat its fine. We dont need pure meat in it if we want ot finish the whole thing.

I ordered for 8 INCHES BEEF AND LAMB SHAWARMA like i said not like the street shawarma and the meat are chewy.

I also ordered for SWEET TURKISH YOGURT PLAIN. Well has some crumbs of yogurt in my drink at first sip its a bit sour maybe not well mixed, its in a tin can cup that makes it more different. As i drink it it getting sweeter so like i said its not well mixed.

SERVICE:
They kinda have a poor service i asked for a spoon to mix my drink but nothing so i just move on to my meal.

NOTES!!! IMPORTANT!!
If you are going to visit the place. Please mind that the availability of meat is depending on the day. They only serve CHICKEN DURING MONDAY,THURSDAY AND SATURDAY
SALMON DURING WEDNESDAY ONLY!!
BEEF IS DURING TUESDAY AND FRIDAY THEY DON'T HAVE SUNDAYS.

The place looked like its owner has stopped caring about it. The staff were not accommodating. i would have expected them to have been trained to always assume that a customer is a first timer due to the nature of their cuisine. Because of this, we ended up ordering something we discovered we didn't like. And i've always thought myself a fan of persian cuisine .

This place was nicely tucked in this street. You wouldn't really see it :) But glad that we did! We tried their beef-lamb shawarma in 8-inch (don't know if i'm remembering the right size :) because they have a bigger one in 12). This serving is actually good enough for me but if you're really hungry go and devour the bigger one! Great food, meat was a bit dry but i covered it up in yoghurt sauce and its all good!:) their yoghurt shake was really good too! All for 130php, i think :) Small place, but clean, good service and you get your money's worth! :)

It was an ok shawarma for me. It was big and best of all tasted healthy. You know the ingredients are all fresh. However a tad bit expensive for my every day consumption.

authentic, 12 inches, flavorful shawarma?? there is only one place to be! and thats Jacobs!!

if you don't mind the smell of onions sticking to your clothes and you are already had enough eating those "authentic" shawarmas then you have to come and visit this little store. their shawarma is really good. Just be sure to check the sched of their shawarmas because they have a schedule when to serve beef, lamb, salmon, and chicken shawarma.
