We used to eat frequently here many years ago, before Glorietta was renovated. This was the first time I went back since 15 years ago I think? They have maintained the taste and quality of their food. The Peking duck was super delicious. We took advantage of the 50% off promo from Metrobank. The steamed suahe was also good/- fresh shrimps and perfectly cooked!

My favorite way to start a Chinese lauriat is with shark's fin soup!

Peking Duck is 128525 We had our order done 3 ways,

1. Meat and skin wrapped in thin soft pancake style wrappers, you can have it with cucumber strips then dip it in yummy hoisin sauce
2. Minced duck meat with veggie wrapped in lettuce
3. Super tasty Duck Soup

We also tried their noodles, steamed suahe and green mustard veggie...which were all good but nothing spectacular 128522 Melon sago for dessert which was on the house 128077🏼 Hooray for freebies!!!

Overall a very good lunch... My fave being the Peking Duck! I betcha my cholesterol went up a couple of notches 128514 Oh well... 50% BDO promo (minimum spend of 5k) not a bad deal!

Always a solid place for a Peking duck or a suckling pig. It's part of the Maxims group. Even better now at 50% off if you use a BDO Visa card (min P5k). 128521128077🏽128077🏽128184 The Dimsums are good too. They have Xiao Long Bao. It's not in the menu though. 128541. Oh. There's a Metro Deal for the Peking duck. 128523

Jade Garden serves this expensive soup called Buddha Jumps Over The Wall, which is around P1,300 per bowl! Finally, I tried it. It is expensive, because it contains abalone, shark's fin, sea cucumber, fish maw, mushrooms, chicken, and wolfberries, and slow steamed over 24 hours! Wow! It tasted good and comforting, but I don't know if I would pay that price! That's 3 bowls of ramen! ;)

Other delicious dishes we ordered were the Peking Duck served Two Ways (skin and meat wrapped in pancake with hoisin sauce, and minced meat wrapped in lettuce). Sarap, but the skin looks like fried chicken, instead of something darker and crispier. The sweet and sour pork was also the best--not starchy, lean meat, crisp, and lightly seasoned! This is how sweet and sour pork should taste like! And the Sea Treasure Beancurd in hot pot was also good!

For high quality Chinese food, Jade Garden still is a good bet.

Ambience is nice, table napkin looked and felt old. Food was ok. Peking duck didnt taste like the usual peking duck. Their Buddha jumped over the wall was also different, in their own way, the soup was medicinally yummy. They have their own elevator :)

I was told that this is a Hong Kong franchise restaurant. Had a purely vegan lauriat. Execution of dishes were top of the line and the taste was far better than the usual Chinese restaurants.

I seriously miss eating out hahaha.... Late post from a few months back eat out of a friend's bday ... Just saw the pics today coz of nothing much to do at home ... I feel like a 70 yr old granny... Haha... OMgawd... The body aches ...the boredom I can't even do normal activities unassisted .. Which reminds me I need to fly home & visit my granny soon... How much I miss her...

Back to the food... I never had a bad meal here... But it's like a uniform meal set... That it's always the same ... Lol... So I less 111088️

Food consistency was good .. service tho... some days are prompt & somedays veryyyy slow ... that we get to practice our patience 128541

Stir fried fresh scallops with broccoli ... The flavors of this dish are simple but superb yet very healthy . The scallop was plump juicy & sweet , the flavor was sealed in nicely with each piece of ocean meaty goodness plus the fresh and crisp broccoli contrasting in texture is simply a delectable appetizing guilt free dish

Well executed dishes ...always new dishes up every few months

The Sauteed Shredded Lapu-Lapu with French Beans was an interesting dish. Located in the business district, Jade Garden offered this dish especially for those business people who want their fish but are wary of deboning it and making a mess. Shredded pieces of fish are cooked in superior stock and topped on crunchy french beans.(upper right pic)

Soup was a surprise for me, it was really plain looking except for the reddish hue of the prawn. The taste was a different matter, it was light and refreshing yet packed a lot of umami flavor because of the dried scallops and others...

Pecking duck was as good as what they offer at pecking garden.... If not one of the best in the metro.

Crab, lobster are the usual... Fresh , meaty & perfectly cooked & seasoned ...

Only 4 star... Coz the service was a little slow...

Celebrated my mom's birthday at Jade Garden, where you can have the traditional Chinese 8 course dinner on round red tables, a private room, and a Chinese happy birthday song by the waiters (at least, they try)!

I pre-ordered from a set menu (Set 4), which is convenient, although I suggest you look at the details and change the cooking style to your looking i.e. fried lapu lapu to steamed lapu lapu, or fried crab with onion and ginger (which was bland) to chilli or salt and pepper (more flavor), or suckling pig assortment (too much of same thing) to four kinds of appetizer (more variety just to amuse the palette). Or add yang chow fried rice, as a meal is never complete without rice, etc. I found out you can actually do this, but too late...

The servings were generous, although the food quality and taste were average. I expected better flavor in the dishes, as mostly, they were bland. The peking duck and suckling pig were also dry. Plating could also be improved, and needed some artistry like carved vegetables, etc. which is typical of good Chinese restaurants. I felt they were quite under staff, and needed more waiters and training also.

The place though is nice, looks upscale and new, perfect for special events or for traditional Chinese 'panto' round table dining.

My mom though was happy, and that was good enough! I'm just too picky, perhaps.

My first time to try and probably will have to wait until someone picks up the bill for me to eat here again128539 it's quite expensive and I find the food just OK.

The peking duck wrap was really good though and the snowball dessert. The rest are just forgettable and you can get better version elsewhere. (Sweet&sour pork, yangchow fried rice, hot&sour soup, beef with broccoli and steamed fish with garlic)

Ambience ✅ suitable for family & pax of 2 to 14 per table
Service ✅
Quality of food ✅
Value for money ✅
Parking & cleanliness ✅

Ambience - decor is typical Chinese , with touch of elegance , but too packed today .. It's so noisy

Service is fast inspite of the demanding hungry pack

Food quality is good : it's Father's Day set menu
Suckling pig - crunchy skin succulent meat

Seafood and spinach soup - taste light but rich with lots of fish & crabmeat

Pecking duck - as good as their sisters group of restaurant Peking garden ... So it's perfect ... I'm just not into these type of food but everyone else seems happy with it 128540

Deep fried fresh lapu with sauce - my fave this time .. No pic coz too busy eating & only fish bone left after128541 ... Skin so crunchy .. Meat so soft ... Light soy sauce to perfect the taste ... Not soggy like most .. It's heavenly & no guilt for consuming much 128541

Goose web with mushroom .. Goose web stewed to softness that makes chewing effortless ... Literally melts in my mouth

Golden crab with salted egg - crab not too good ... Salted egg breading a little too thin ... Not a happy dish today 128530

Mustard veggies with mushroom & scallop - it's cooked perfectly & not even bitter + a good dose of scallop on top... Yum

Fried rice with BBQ pork & ginger sauce - good but too grainy for me.. And I didn't taste the ginger sauce at all

Oh ... We ordered tons of dinsum: siomai , hakao, sticky dumpling , chicken feet too salty , friend wanton & everything's top notch

Dessert :

Avocado with sago - I don't like avocado and it's not chilled ... So didn't find it good

Parking :

There's mall parking at terrace & a private lift that brings u straight to the resto .. Very convenient .. We're there early so parking wasn't a big challenge 9786️

Cleanliness :

Powder room staff cleans ever time someone uses a cubicle .. So it's spotless
