Jam Sweet Jam: The Classic Bakery

Jam Sweet Jam is an old famous bakeshop and restaurant in Dagupan, located at Guilig Street. In the old days, it is the place to go if you're looking for a classy cake like the ones you see being presented in Chinese birthdays filled with several fruits. In addition, if you were having your birthday at Jam Sweet Jam's restaurant, you are already considered "sosyal" / classy, or if they are the ones who are catering your party. Their breads and pastries are also exemplary! Nowadays, with a whole lot of competition, they are still standing amongst the newbies on the block.

After a long time, I was able to stop by their bakery in search for their chocolate bon bons. Sadly, it wasn't available. I was able to reel in nostalgia over their Lady Fingers, and mini cheesy mamon.

Some other items you should definitely try is their Dolce de Leche sampler rolls, cheesy Ensymada, Bibinka and Empanada.

Jam Sweet Jam is also famous for their Sizzling Bulalo and pasta dishes as well as the meatloaf. Super love that and it's only made to order. We usually get that for during the holiday season.

Have you tried any of their goods? Which are your favorites? Do let me know!

My colleague, Carlo R went to Pangasinan for a short vacation and decided to bring us some sweet treats from Jam Sweet Jam. He bought us some coco banana chips, empanada, some fudge brownies and others I couldn't recall the names.

The empanada was good but some were easily spoiled, maybe it wasn't placed inside a fridge? The coco banana chips was addictive! Once you pop, you really can't stop! The fudge brownies and others were also good and delicious!

I heard they also serve entrées and cakes, and also cater for special events!

Had dinner here last week with my best bud.

Had their pochero, jam chicken, and sisig.

The pochero is nice although the beef is not so tender. The chicken is also ok. It's fried chicken with white cream sauce.

The sisig tastes good but too oily and too much mayo.

I bought pasalubong from here. Got their empanada, coco banana chips and other sweet treats that I forgot what they're called. Lol

This is where I first tried an iced tea shake, several years (or maybe, a decade 128513) ago. I wonder if they still serve it at present. Although I had coughs during my visit, I didn't regret ordering that drink. Just to share, ever since I was a kid, I was taught to avoid foods that are cold or oily when I have cough coz it'll make it worse. But the truth is, it even soothed my throat! It was like magic coz I felt a lot better the next day after drinking! :)))
