Maki cravings on the side. And great! Japanbox has a variety of sushi. Since we wanted to try one dish of each store, we thought of trying Crazy Maki (4 pcs for only P130). It has tuna filling topped by crabstick and crunchy topping. Wasabi is not an authentic one ( walang effect sa nose!!.. If you know what i mean128540). Nothing really spectacular with this sushi, good thing the crunchy topping adds a taste.

I heard that there are a lot of delicious and cheap finds from Gastro Park Kapitolyo. I was suppose to meet up with a friend but she got stuck in traffic haha. I decided to try the food park and started with JapBox.

The prices are better compared to other food parks. I ordered their Chicken Teriyaki with Chahan and buttered vegetables on the side for only PHP130 and serving size is pretty good. I wasn't really expecting quality food because of the price. The chicken portions were cute and tasted okay, "pwede na". I love the buttered veggies on the side and the chahan. For the price I paid, I think food is okay.

If you're not too picky with food and will go for anything that tastes good then this will get you satisfied. If you're looking for super quality food then not the place to go to. Might as well go to a restaurant128512

We got invited to eat, drink, and be merry, for free, and have a taste of some of the offerings from the Gastro Park Kapitolyo establishments. 128541

From Japbox, we were served Salmon Belly Teriyaki (PhP140) and
Beef Teriyaki (PhP140). Both were good and sweet. I love salmon but their Beef Teriyaki tasted better. Both were served with rice and veggies. :)

Next up, we checked out Japbox, a food stall with Japanese-based offerings including rice bowls, noodles, sushi, etc. Prices appear to be pretty affordable with each dish in the 100+ peso range only.

Procedure is you go up to the stall, order what you want, pay and wait for your food at your table.

I decided to get their Oyakudon (125 pesos). This was sweet chicken and egg drizzled with some more sweet sauce on top of a hefty amount of rice. Now, for that price, this was sulit! Fair serving and it tasted really good. Now, I'm hoping that all of their other offerings are on the same wavelength.
