Two Words: Club. Epicure. I recently bought a membership and man oh man. 50% off for two people. It's so worth it!!! Even without the membership they're running 30% off deals with various credit cards. This makes going there way more affordable.

They're known for their Yum Cha Dimsum buffet thing at P988/pp but since the discount doesn't apply to that, we went ala carte instead. Ended up being cheaper!

We ordered: Ha Kaw(must), XLB(must), Siomai(yummy), Radish Cake(skip if on diet), Beef Rice Roll (good), shrimp cheese roll (delicious but deadly), milk bun (skip unless you want to have a heart attack, it is too rich), spare ribs (good) and Yang Chow (good and generous portioned).

Gorgeous ambiance. Attentive and friendly service. we couldn't be happier. Make a reservation, they get full.

Me and my family celebrated my brother's birthday.

It was a Chinese feast at Jasmine in New World. We had soup, honey pork, crispy chicken, shu mai, pork buns, crispy seafood noodles for birthdays of course. 128514 And desserts! Coffee jelly, and the one with orange and lychee. 128514 I forgot the exact names.

The soup was our favorite. Tho it was expensive, it's a good thing it is packed with flavors and plenty of mushrooms, veggies and all. The honey pork was okay. My expectations were not met. I was expecting tender and just the right sweetness of the pork. Shu mai and pork buns were good too. The noodles on the other hand was delish. But after one serving or so of it is already nakakaumay. Veggies and noodles tho was hefty. Almost three to four people can share. Desserts are just ordinary.

Sad to say their service was very poor. I don't know if we had bad timing or their just simply slow.

Legit good and not too expensive. for a group of 8 adults and 5 kids, we paid P5,600 (with BDO 30% off) for a heaping boatload of food. This is what we ordered:
1) cold cuts plate
2) 2 order siomai
3) 1 order hakao
4) chicken w kropek
5) birthday noodles (medium)
6) braised beef
7) 2 orders baked pork bun
8) yangchow medium
9) additional yangchow small
10) sweet and sour pork
11) this garlic spinach dish
12) 3 sodas

A lot right? And we were all so full. It's very yummy, quality ingredients (hindi kuripot) and the place is very nice.

Will be back to try their dimsum buffet.

The spare ribs is a must! 128523 will definitely go back for this.

The beggar's chicken is also a treat. Though you need to order it a day in advance. It is cooked inside lotus leaves and a dough mold.

Unlimited dimsum?! I'm soooooo in! The plumpest and most flavorful hargao (pictured) in the metro is enough to make me go back over and over again! The rest of the dimsum selection (siomai, taro puff, wagyu beef with mango, bbq pork puff, xio long bao and congee to name a few) are consistently good. 128055128061128523And did I mention that it comes with a drink too? Pretty good deal for P865nett128184128077128523128522 Its available daily for lunch and dinner, sweeeeeet!! 128076
P.S the interiors are super pretty, non traditional Chinese art deco128525 and the service is warm yet unobtrusive. Good job Jasmine team!128522

I'm always fan of buffets so knowing about Jasmine having dimsum buffet was a discovery I'll never regret.

Jasmine is located in New World Hotel and knowing it is a hotel restaurant, it is associated to a pricey menu but the price tag for their dimsum buffet was just right for me.

The Wagyu Beef Roll is on top my the list among their dimsum sets. They also serve Hakaw and Xiao Long Bao but I love more their Hakaw as they cook it on different ways. All their dimsums are made to order so better order a lot then, order again after you have eaten half of the sets so that the food keeps coming. :)

The staffs were very accommodating and attentive to your needs especially their outlet manager. They even check what you want to have so an additional star for that.

I will definitely be back to have another dimsum feast! :)

P.S. Better call first to check their rates for the day as they change it especially on holidays or special occasions. They also have a separate menu for Chinese meals if want to have different type of dish.

Dimsum buffet, baby!! Woah, we had too much but just right. 128513 We ordered a whole lot of dimsum, noodles and soup. Can't say it's the best place to get your dimsum service but it really ain't that bad.

What I really like about it is how we can drown ourselves with just dimsum. Can you just imagine dimsum buffet? Me neither... at first.

Maybe it's because my groupmates and I just love dimsum and really enjoyed the dimsum buffet yesterday. Nonetheless, it can be a quick fix of your dimsum craving in Makati! Don't forget to bring friends cos it's better to eat everything when you feel na may kaagaw ka! 128513

Oh, and can I just say that the wagyu beef and mango is a killer? Yes.

One of my faves. Definitely underrated. A bit pricey but i think it's worth it! Food tastes clean...not too oily, not overly seasoned, not nakakaumay.

Dimsum is really good. I would even recommend the xiao long bao :)

And I'm giving it an A for consistency.

Yummy mid-day eat all you can dimsum at php600! Worth every penny. The deal comes with a free glass of soft drink or iced tea.

Sulit talaga! I was there from 1130 to 330 (but last call for orders is i think at 2ish??

(See menu options in the photo I've attached)

Im not sure though it this is just a promo coz I read somewhere that it will only be offered until May 31. Sana its perpetual na!

5 star for having all my test dishes on dimsum available.

Ha-Kaw: delectable. It was very impressive as this simple dish is a difficult one to master. The skin should be thin enough that you can actually have a preview of the shrimp inside but not too thin that when you hold the dumpling on your chopstick it falls apart. It shouldn't also stick to either the steamer or to your chopsticks.

Beef ball: good but lacking. It was one of the better ones in the metro no doubt but still lacks the crunch of vegetable in it. It would easily be at par with the best if not for lacking this touch.

BBQ pork pastry: ah! Hard to find! Not all places that serve dimsum has it. The pork BBQ was very good but the pastry lacks not only the puffiness but was also lacking in the layer feel of a pastry. It is supposed to taste similar to a tiny croissant with BBQ pork and was glazed.

Service is very good and price was reasonable as a dim sum all you can at 600+.

In total a deduction of 1 star for not meeting my dimsum standard.

My new favorite for all-you-can eat dimsum and salted fish fried rice. Make this your lunch stop for shrimp dumplings, xiao long bao, and their chocolate dumpling dessert. Great value for money and you can escape the lunchtime heat as well.

This unlimited dimsum resto stands between Crowne Plaza's and Makati Shang's. ambiance is cozy! Food serving is so so( just order more if you want more duh!) food tastes good! The Oolong tea ( I just drank 3 teapots ONLY hehe) was superb! :) Service was okay but couldn't handle well once there are a lot of customers.

For me I would still go for Makati Shang's unlimited dimsum as they have a WHOLE lot more food choices which is just for only 200php more! :) But according to the restaurant manager, they'll be releasing more foodS in the menu SOON as they have just hired HK chefs! Hope it would level Makati Shang's! Will make another review on this again when the time comes! :)
