We were served with overcooked pad thai - literally like a lump of paste. And mixed seafood tom yum with few pieces of seafood: 1pc of shirmp, 2 mussels, and a few rubberry chunks of octopus. And with a price range of 200-400 per dish, I think it's well overpriced 128543

Most of the dishes, I was planning to order were not available.

Opted for my go-to dishes:
Crispy catfish w/ Mango salad (245PHp)
Chicken w/ cashew nuts
Bagoong Rice (180PHp)

Still good to satisfy my Thai cuisine craving.

Thai dinner with the parents because my mom felt like having Thai food. They had to buy something at the nearby supermarket so I volunteered to order ahead. Mom's only request was that there would be at least one dish that wasn't spicy.

After the dishes arrived, I realized I was hungry and must have over ordered. We ended up finishing everything with our tummies bursting at the seams haha

On the table
🔹Crispy Catfish with Mango Salad - this was good as an appetizer and with rice. There were mangoes underneath the fish. The fish, mangoes and sweet vinegar sauce all went well together.
🔹Thai Fried Pork Spring Rolls - these were huge and crunchy. The filling was on the sweet side. This was the last dish to be consumed.
🔹Chicken Sate - chicken was moist and the peanut sauce was light. I preferred to eat this without the vinegar dipping sauce.
🔹Beef Brisket with Thin Rice Noodles - This was our fave dish from the meal. The broth was soothing and you could smell and taste the aromatic herbs and seasonings used. The noodles though were slippery and we made quite a mess scooping it out with the ladle. We had to use a fork for the long noodles since my parents didn't want to cut it. The beef was soft and tender. This huge bowl is good for sharing.
🔹Plain Rice - we ordered 2 cups that was more than enough for the 3 of us. Loved the serving bowl that it came in.
🔹Lemon Iced Tea - weird that it was red. It tasted like a weird syrup was used. I can't determine what it was though. I regret ordering a bottomless drink.

Although most of the dishes were on the sweet side, i still enjoyed our Thai dinner. Definitely coming back for the Beef Brisket with Thin Rice Noodles and the Crispy Catfish with Mango Salad.

I never knew this place existed until Katrina D suggested we have dinner there yesterday.

Everything on the menu was tempting since I personally love Thai cuisine and the prices were also very affordable!! 128540

Vegetarian Spring Rolls (P140) *one on the photo* - I loved this dish! It was really good and tasty, the vegetables were also very fresh. The only thing I didn't like was how oily it was. Parang hindi nadrain properly yung oil. But im still gonna order this when I go back.

Green Chicken Curry (P250) - I loved the spicy level of the curry. We were tempted to go for the red curry but the waiter warned us that the red curry's a little too spicy even if it was labeled "mild". He suggested that we get green curry instead because the spicyness is more tolerable than the red. It was one good dish for me!!! I really loved it, might be because I'm really fond of eating spicy food. 128293 I loved this more than the red curry of Songkran that's not even spicy 128567

Chicken Pad Thai (P195) - Pad Thai was ok. It was good but not something I'd order again.

Crabmeat Fried Rice (P200) - This is the crabmeat fried rice that's not tinipid with crabmeat. It was very tasty and flavourful, lasang lasa ang crabmeat! But again, it wouldn't be something I'd order again.

The only 2 dishes that got me real hard would be the Vegetarian Spring Roll and Green Chicken Curry 128540

If you're craving for Thai food and you're at Megamall, there's no other place to go but Jatujak! We enjoyed our food so much, we tried so hard to finish it. But, we were so full! BURP! We had crab fried rice, spring rolls and stir fried flat noodles with chicken. Favorite Thai Resto, it is!

Thai Food isn't as prolific in Manila and I have no idea why. It's so good. Thank heavens for Jatujak which is there when you need to satisfy your craving. It's our go-to when we are in the mall and need a bagoong rice and curry fix.

as a result we always order our faves - bagoong rice and chicken curry. We vary it up sometimes by getting pad thai instead of rice but this time we were feeling rice. we ordered squid too for a change and it was delish. I recommend this. Pair your meal with Thai Iced Tea which is both dessert and drink.

Pro Tip: they have a buy1take1 pad thai deal with an Enjoy Card! Nomnomnom.

It's a holiday Monday and we thought of trying out something new for dinner. Well not really a new type of cuisine but a new place for something I've tried before. I wasn't much into Thai food until I got to try Thai Dara few months ago with a friend, and it changed my impressions about Thai cuisine in general. And I seemed to enjoy it more than I used to, although it took a while before I'd say that I really like it.

Anyway, we got to try their Shrimp Pad Thai, Fried Spring Rolls and Red Curry. And of course, rice, and Thai (milk) tea! I forgot how much everything costs but I think it's still less than a thousand bucks!

The fried spring rolls were quite good. A pretty straightforward spring rolls served with chili sauce that's a bit sweet. Shrimp Pad Thai is good, although not generously served with vegetable toppings, but was actually impressed by its taste. Thai Dara's Pad Thai is still my #1 favorite though. Red Curry was definitely my favorite that night, and it's actually the first time I tried it. The curry sauce has this mild level of spiciness with a little bit of sweetness which makes it interesting. And the meat was soft and has a good texture which makes this dish a truly recommended one!

I noticed that their version of the Thai (milk) tea has some stronger flavor but, I wouldn't mind since it's good too!

Place was quite hard to find without using any navigating app, because it's located in front of the new Supermarket in Mega Bldg A. Not too big but enough to fill in about 30 people. Service has been great and the waiting time isn't that long.

About the photo, it may not look decent but that's the best thing I can do when people are like very aware of your habit of taking photos of the food!

Ohh i love thai food!
Since Most of the time i eat alone... I knew ill have my orders half for here and half to go.
Minus 1 star since almost everything is for sharing.
They should at least consider "single eaters" like me...

Anyway, food is good. I love their beef soup in flat rice noodles. 128077128077128077128077128077
Plus, their thai pork spring rolls. 128077128077128077128077
Authentic recipe! Love its dip!

Curry is a must try too!

going back to jatujak after tamarind (the level up resto in sm aura opened by the same group), jatujak proves its staying power by keeping food pretty good and prices reasonable. there are some menu items that have the same taste profiles in both places, such as the pad thai and the crab rice. so if you're not particular you can get both dishes at jatujak for almost half the price. even the thai iced milk tea is very close. noodles, curries, soups and rice are good items to be less discerning if your palate is okay with that. but for fried stuff or salads, i'm more likely to go with tamarind since there's probably a reason for the higher price point - fresher ingredients or maybe better oil. just maybe. so that we can be nice to our wallets on some days.

Pad Thai does not have a wow factor in terms of taste when you get to compare it with authentic ones in Thailand but definitely way better than the one they served at My Thai. Still looking for the best pad Thai in Manila though...

So far, the worst thai place i've been to. I was in Megamall last Saturday and was craving for some Thai, so I used Looloo to find a Thai restaurant. Sadly, it was the only one in Megamall :(

Ordered Shrimp Pad Thai and was disappointed. The toge was just as many as the noodles, so its taste dominated. 128532

The servers were kind tho, hence the 2 stars.

Thai food= flavorful, strong taste and healthy! After an hour of gym workout, I couldn't tame my taste buds in craving for herb-riched, high in vegetables and less processed foods.
Pad Thai tastes nice and just right amount of ingredients. Catfish salad played my tongue with its shredded green mango. Oops! P.S. Spring rolls completed the meal!
