Doughnut send off is always a good idea. I liked the flavors of J.Co doughnuts especially the oreo creamcheese and tiramisu.

Yesterday (i am not sure if they still are celebrating) was their 4th year anniversary and JCo donuts are giving away extra dozen of donuts every time you buy two dozens! So i did join their celebration. What kind of celebrating is waiting about 2 hours in a line? Haha.

I like JCo donuts better than krispy kreme cause it's less sweeter and less oily. But main point why i dislike the experience here is because of their service.

You see, when you're not too choosy and just decided to go for assorted, there's just a line dedicated for you. And at that time, the line is shorter than the choosy customers--which by the way parang block buster na sa labas ang pila. With all those haggard effects and pamaypay you could say they were also waiting for a long time!

Anyway, inside line is more comfortable, cause you get to sit down. The line here is also moving faster. Inside you could see also a lot of dozen-donuts-filled boxes for their take one treat.

So for a while i was doing my telephone business and i need not to care of the line cause it was moving fast. Suddenly i noticed it became slow. Then to my surprise the line was now joined with the choosy eaters' line 128563

But then again, i did not mind because i was inside already, i said to myself sandali lang naman na ito... Then suddenly the line movement stopped 128557

I saw a pile of boxes waiting to be claimed (apparently these are from people who left their orders and promised to come back), there were already hangry customers trying to claim that they were waiting for so long. I am guessing other buyers start to cheat and just claimed boxes that were not theirs that's why when the true owner comes, wala na.

I looked outside and sobrang sabog na ng mga tao. I also felt tired because i was standing for quite too long narin (i was now on cue without chairs) then at last gumalaw narin ang line.. The guy that was on wait for quite a long time was asked:
"Sir what flavors would you like to have?"
"Uhm... Uhm..."128548
Ang tagal tagal mo nang nakatayo jan and nagyon ka lng nag iisip?! Huhu. 128555128553

It really went soo slow some have their list and really took time in waiting for their preferred donuts to be made.

Then. They ran out of finished donuts. 128543
Patience almost ran out, the line not moving but still more and more people are entering. Finally it was my turn. Only a few donuts left. Eh ang dami dami pang donuts pang free nila!

There was no directions din where people should exit the line. Counter flow!

Buti nalang may isang matalinong manager na nag-alok ng boxes of donuts na iyon:
"Sir what donut would you like? Kasi would like to offer our promotional boxes na"

"Ah diba may line kayo for assorted lang? What happened?"

"Sir pinagsama na kasi namin"

"Anyway, i like assorted donuts. I dont mind the flavor."

"Ok sir, ill assist you with the paymemt"

I also ordered their cafe avocado. Still sweet as ever.

I think they weren't prepared. God knows if the people outside were served as well. Hopefully they dont ran out of donuts.

And airy din ang donuts nila just look at the pic. Anyway. Iba pa rin mmn ang JCo. This was just not a good exprience.

I think they should have a good process flow!

Another review for one of J.co's doughnuts.

I can remember what this is called but i vaguely remember something like Snow blah. Anyways the texture of this doughnut is the same as the others - soft and ensaymada-ey. Unlike the matcha doughnut, this one has just confectionery sugar on top. The cream filling was the same and okay. And i felt like eating some milk gooey concoction while eating this. Maybe its like their milk/vanilla/cream flavor. I won't buy this flavor again.

🙂

Trying out J. Co doughnuts because I forever loved Krispy Kreme but today I was too lazy to walk up to the uppermost floor of trinoma.

The thing I like about J.Co doughnuts is that they have a wide array of flavors that would satisfy your palate if youre sick of the regular sugar/chocolate/cream flavors most doughnut places have to offer. I tried this green tea doughnut with webs on top. Unlike krispy kreme, JCo doughnuts have softer breads. KK's always have this soft but crunchy topped goodness while on the other hand J.Co's have the uniform softness which reminds me of ensaymadas. I was able to taste some hints of matcha in this doughnut slightly less than that of the kitkat matchas. I found that sometimes the matchaness got overpowered in the middle by the heavy cream inside the doughnut. I totally got lost there. It was like i was tasting just a regular creamed doughnut.

Nonetheless, i got won over by the green tea taste and over-all softness of the doughnut. Not sure however if I'd trade it for Krispy Kreme on days when I'm not lazy

Idk what this donut is called but it's good! I would still stick with my Alcapone, Green Tease, and the avocado flavored one though. 128516

I had to wait for my mom to pick me up and she asked me to go wait for her near J. Co. Thank God there was no long line and the place wasn't packed so I got to grab some donuts first. Looks like the J. Co hype is done.

I got a piece of Mr. Green T (P42) and Lemon Iced Tea (P90). I was surprised when they gave me another donut for free. Yay! I can never go wrong with anything green tea. I liked it very matcha! Lol. As for the iced tea, I think it was overpriced. It was also too sweet for my liking.

Service was good and the staff were all smiling and still energetic at 7 in the evening. 9786

My friend/workmate got these donuts as a "thank you for everything" from a client. Such a nice gesture!

What I like about these donuts is that they are indeed nice and soft. They're not that sweet though, which may appeal to some. I like them, but they're not something I'd crave for. I would rather have my donuts somewhere else where they're really sweet haha.

Bought a dozen as a pasalubong for mom. Anyway, I'm shocked that there's no long lines. I guess donut hype was over. My favourites flavors taste the same as before.

No long lines! Surprise surprise. Probably the end of the doughnut hype? Anyway, I like J.Co doughnuts because they aren't so sweet and always fresh from the oven. Tried the couple yoghurt which costs P140 for 2+1 toppings. Generous serving of blueberry but the amount of yoghurt is a bit deceiving. 128513 Container looks huge but it actually isn't. Oh well. Bitin. Haha! 128541128541128541

As you can see in the photo, this was the scene at J.Co Trinoma at around 10:02am (time when the photo was taken).

For a store whose operating hours are around 10am-11pm, they had the gall to do a pre-shift staff meeting past their opening hours.

The bad part is that there's a long line waiting for their "meeting" to be done!

At 10am sharp, 2 ladies wating along with me were already knocking and asking why it was taking the staff so long (clearly, those two ladies were also in a hurry) but lo & behold, the guard was the one who had to answer to the customer, saying they should just continue waiting outside until the meeting's done. Wow. Those ladies were so pissed, they just went up and left.

The staff finished at around 10:08am and let people in at around 10:10am.

BTW, during the 10-minute wait outside their store, a staff came out and when asked what's taking the meeting so long, he responded "nagkwe-kwetuhan pa po, eh."

Where was the manager, prey tell? At the middle of their meeting. Cleary, he can see there's people waiting to be serviced outside but it seems that their meeting is much more important than opening on time.

After letting the customers in at 10:10am, they didn't even offer an apology for opening up later than expected.

This situation is beyond rude and inconsiderate. For a well-known store, I expected the staff to act professionally and follow international standards that were set to them.

Filipino time lang ang peg?

That may just be a 10-minute delay, but if they had that guts to do this today, how many times have they done this in the past? Has nobody reprimanded them?

This is my first time visiting the Trinoma brach, but I probably never would again.

Everyone's falling for J.Co. I mean literally falling in the long line just for J.Co and I am one of those who spends hours of waiting just to indulge on their yummy round treats. Waiting on that long line is really a test of patience but once you get the donuts it feels very rewarding. It's worth waiting for. My favorite was the oreology donut but actually i love almost all the flavors they have here that's why i ended up ordering an assorted box of donuts. What i liked about J.Co was the softness of the donuts, and the flavors were just amazing and really unique. I was referred by Rufina C to join the #loolooiPhone6giveaway!

My treat to my lil cousins after passing the nursing exam. I've never been in a good donut shop like this before. This is my first time.w Perfect place, venue and facilities. Such a nice place and service. The only thing that I don't want at this branch is their lane. It is so long and time consuming, sometimes, customers often complain because most of donuts are out of stocks but aside from that, all is good. The food and drinks and good. You can bring your friends here if you want to chill out and relax. I was referred by Kuya J to join the #loolooiPhone6giveaway!

Haven't had these for months now. J.Co still attracts a lot of people and still creates long lines. Good thing I didn't have to line up for this box 128541 My good 'ol sister brought this home yesterday!

Took me less than a minute to open the box, spot my favorite Green Tea donut and eat away! I missed J.Co! Still the same quality - soft with generous filling and topping.

I think I was able to inhale 2 in no time 128541128541128541128541128541

Minus one star because the lines are always long.

I love how their donuts are soft and not too sweet. Alcapone, Oreology and the green tea flavors are my fave. It's a better deal if you get 2 dozen donuts (P 550) instead of just 1.

J.Co has made huge waves of lines of people almost everyday. So what is really in it that makes a lot of people crave for it?128563

For me, I chose J.Co just because of two things.

1. Almonds - Yes, I can eat a dozen of Al Capone! 128525128077

2. Sweetness - It doesn't give me toothaches! 127849 Unlike, KK, which probably has a kilo of sugar on every doughnut. 128540 Agree?

I usually buy 2 dozens (Php550) for the whole family. One box of assorted doughnuts and One dozen of Al Capone, it does really tastes good! Must try!128536
