For under php70 bucks, I had a triple choco macchiato...! A rarity nowadays with all the overpriced stylized coffee and tea drinks! Tasted just like how I imagined it...! Perfect company for working at the Santa Barabara-Iloilo International Airport... That's a cup of coffee at the right heat (not scalding!) and a yummy choco chip nutty cookie. :)

Shared a table with a nice lady from GenSan also waiting for her flight. Rice toppings here are php70 and below. Prices of sandwiches, pasta, rice meals, salads and soups, and specialty hot and cold coffees range from php36 pesos to about php70 only. Plus he food is good! There are three items that hit the php95-97 mark (clubhouse sandwich, Spanish sausage and chicken rice, mixed beef Japanese fried rice). The pastries range from php5.75 for a cookie to php30 or so for cronuts... :) they have classic cakes (chocolate, braso de Mercedes, cheesecake...missing the sansrival though!).

Good to hang out here. Cheap food but quality for the price and they serve your order within 5-7 minutes. Not too long a wait.

Local cafe offering merienda and pastry and sweet offerings. Reminiscing of old diner like feel. Pancit molo is really hearthy.

I ordered their grilled pimiento sandwich (Php 87) thinking that it is a grilled cheese pimiento sandwich. I should have known better. They should have called it grilled ham and egg sandwich instead because that's what it has - ham, scrambled egg, slivers of pimiento and some sweet yellowy sauce slathered on the bread with bits of red - I suppose that's the cheese pimiento. It was too sweet for my taste but if you like that and you eat meat, then maybe you'll like it but I was disappointed.

I ate my food in the airplane because we were late on our flight but this molo soup is so classic and delicious at really affordable price. Strawberry cronut is really superb, although the texture us not really like cronuts but the taste is there. They have wide range of pastry (not in the pic) but they're all mouthwatering at a price of 10-12Php per bar.

Bonus: They're price is really cheap even for their bread. So far it is the cheapest but great cafe you'll find in an airport. Try their Revel bar!

Heard so much about how good the pastry is in this place so i was so excited to try it out.
And i thought it was actually overrated. The pastries were okay but not something i would actially crave (like i would Roberto's siopao- now that's a winner!). Best thing about them? The price. They're really cheap so im thinking im really just getting what i paid for. Haha.

First word that comes to our mind about airport food? "Overpriced"! I also shared this misconception not until i encountered JD Bakeshop at the Ilo-ilo airport. In JD's you can have a decent chicken cordon bleu with just P58.00, i ordered the spanish sausage and chicken rice priced for P88.00. What amazed me about this place is that their low prices do not compromise their food presentation. My 88 peso meal have the impression of a 300 peso meal from a decent restaurant complete with garnish (see pic). It also house tons of bite size pastries priced from a russian tea cookie at 2.50 to a popcorn butterscotch square at 10.25. Truly recommended last top before leaving Ilo-ilo.
