I've been here 20 years ago when I was still part of a Christian Youth Organization that conducts Youth Summer Camps and Leadership Trainings. We considered this place because this was popular place for Boy Scouts, COCC and ROTC Trainings, with the theme "Becoming Soldiers of God"; this is a perfect place. That time, rooms were like a soldier's barracks - triple deck, no bedding set ---its like the training camps we usually see on movies.

But now it's totally different. According to the Manager, this was renovated when former president Joseph Ejercito Estrada was in house arrest. He made a big garden, where he planted his favorite vegetables; there are also animals like ostrich, deer, other birds. He installed a family and kid's pool. Beside the kid's pool is a playground with several picnic tables. The family pool is located near the hotel with 5 nipa hut cottages and shower area. The good thing with this resort is even its 3pm the water is still cold, and the air is so fresh.

We walk around and saw several big nipa huts conducive for training classrooms. There is a Museum where you can see paintings of Joseph Estrada and Fernando Poe Jr., their popular movies posters; a friend told me that this was made dedicated to FPJ as his best friend. Near to this area is where Joseph Estrada resides. A bungalow type house, has big receiving area installed with high quality tables and chairs where he received visitors. It has small fish pond full of koi located at the entrance of the house.

You can pay for a tour to see the whole area but I don't think you can access his house coz that place is closed to the public; we just had a peek coz we are with owner's personal assistant.

Bring food coz they don't have a restaurant; I'm not sure if they serve food to their hotel guests. We were not able to check the hotel ciz its full.

I love that you can bring food and drinks including alcoholic beverages without paying corkage.

I rated 5 stars for good place, good service and it's free!
