My friend's cousin invited us to go to Thunderbird's casino, the Fiesta. It was on a whim and we set out to go gambling and eat at the buffet on a very rainy night. The road trip didn't take long. There was light traffic but we were there within an hour drive.

We decided to have a bite first and checked out the buffet beside the casino. The meals were unappealing for the price. They had Italian cuisine going on but the pastas were dry and didn't have much at all. It was around 9:00 PM and we were lucky to find another place still open.

Jinyou, a Korean restaurant just a few feet away was still open. Since we were crazed Korean foodies, we decided to eat there. Earlier we thought it was a Japanese restaurant.

We were ecstatic with our orders! They were really good too!

Kimchi Stew
Sam-Gyup-Sal (Grilled Pork Belly)
Kim Bob (Korean Roll)
Dol-Sot Bi-Bim-Bob
Soju (Korean Gin) Grapefruit Flavor

If you are a virgin to Korean restaurants, you'll be amazed that the side dishes are unlimited! That includes sweet mini potatoes, kimchi, pickled vegetables, lettuce and whatever is available on that day.

Another fun experience is cooking your own food in their special table grill/pan. The Korean grill usually on table top, has a hole or spout to drain the excess fat from your meat.

Korean dishes are mostly sweet or spicy. That is no different from their Kimchi Stew which is the bomb! And not in a spicy way. It has this really nice flavor and kick. The kimchi side dish was amazing too, by the way.

The Kim Bob is alright. The ingredients were fresh so that is a good thing.

The Dol-Sot Bi-Bim-Bob is a dish of rice and vegetables that may include zucchini, seaweed, carrots, radish, cilantro, etc. served on a hot clay pot. It is usually topped with an egg. Raw or you can have it cooked. And drizzled with their sweet and spicy red sauce. You mix the ingredients around while the pot is still hot and each ingredient's flavor melt together with the sauce. You have a gooey fried rice that is full of flavor!

And of course, no Korean meal is complete without soju! We tried the grapefruit flavored one. It tastes wonderful. You wouldn't know you've had enough until you feel it kick in. There is immediate heat once you swallow it though.

Next time we feel like grabbing some Korean food again, we know it's just a few miles away!

Oh, the gambling? I am not really a gambler, but I went for the slot machines. I just tried my luck with a Hundred Pesos. Sad to say I didn't bring any home. Haha! Maybe next time.

It's close to Thunderbird Resorts and price is cheaper than resort meal. It's called bbq restaurant but doesn't have a table grill. No kalbi either.
