I've always loved their Shrimp and Enoki Pizza, which I first tasted when they opened in Greenbelt several years back. Still love it but was sad to discover that the serving size was smaller now. It's made of shrimp, pineapples, cheese and some other sauce that makes it taste good! I'm not a fan of pineapples in pizza but I've mad an exception for this.

We also had their Ebi Shitake Pesto Pasta, pictured above. My friends super loved it.

We also had the crunchy tuna and dynamite rolls. They were just okay for me. The first time I tried their rolls in the past I thought they were so good. Not sure if I've just tasted better now or their quality declined.

In any case the staff were very friendly and accommodating. It did take them a while to cook the pizza.

Will come back to try the other items in their menu. 128151

A bit on the pricey side but food was excellent, you can really tell that they use fresh ingredients. We had tuna salad, salmon belly teriyaki, & dynamite rolls.

We ordered what turned out to be a most refreshing and now favorite meal good for two: the cold soba and kani salad, and the spicy tuna sashimi salad!

The soba was such a great "pasta" dish that I know I will always look for.

Actually didn't expect the food to be this good. Perhaps we just ordered poorly in Greenbelt years ago, or the restaurant simply upped its game since then. Either way, I look forward to exploring their menu more!

Hmmm... i forgot what john and yoko taste like way back at greembelt but with the sprout of other resto like ooma and etc, j&y was just okay. Looking at its menu i was lost what to order since they have anything from ramen to pasta to sushi and yakitori. And majority on its menu are rice meals.

I like their melted cheese sushi and crunchy tuna sushi. Their beef roll with mushroom was too salty. Enoki bacon was good, generous amount of enoki mushrooms. Tonkatsu was not good, sorry its too dry and hard. 128528

Headed to UP Town Center for a sort of mini-reunion dinner with a couple of college friends and they chose John and Yoko!

I wasn't up for Japanese food at the time so I chose a pasta dish with a Japanese twist – their Japanese Carbonara. It's basically carbonara topped with nori and ebi tempura. I would have to say I enjoyed it! The serving was quite big and since it's pasta, it can be quite heavy!

The one thing I liked most about their Japanese Carbonara is the hint of wasabi in the cream sauce! It's there but it's not overwhelmingly spicy that would leave your nose burning. It's just right! 10084

I find the service a little slow. The place a bit warm. The food though is quite good. Serving size, ample. Courteous staff too.

Authentic Japanese food, OK!

Their California Rolls tasted so fresh with the crunchiness of the leaves and smoothness of the crab sticks and pineapples inside.

The Salmom Sashimi was so fresh and best eaten when cold!

The All Meat Shabu-Shabu has big servings that can be shared by almost 3-4 people. The veggies and meat, tofu and mushrooms come well together!

Oops. I forgot to take a picture before mixing.
Met with a frend.
The place could accommodate around 50 pax.

Severs were good. Mostly approachable. Big service!
Ordered gyudon. My frend told me to put dome togarashi (the red spicy powder with black sesame) cause thats what they do in japan daw. And it was good. The beef is gooey and has a portion of fats. Rice was japanese and the dish never run dry.

Sushi conspiracy. Consists of 2 tuna. 1 salmon. 1 amaebi. 1 ika. 1 tamago. 1 kani. 1 uni. 1 eel and 1 crab eggs. It tasted fresh! Loved the uni! The wasabi wasnt that spicy.

Dynamite roll. Ordinarily good. The chili sauce was the star.

Sukiyaki. Try this! Comparable to japan's. You can ask the server to crack the egg for you professionally.

Lychee sake. Meh. Too sweet! I prefer original sake.

Quite pricey but good. Allot 2000 for these.

My family and I were supposed to eat in Casa Verde last Sunday but we didn't want to have to go through the horrible line, so we ended up here! And thankfully, John and Yoko was a great "fallback" haha. We ordered a lot - tuna sashimi, amazing kani roll, conspiracy rolls (10 pcs of rolls hehe), torikatsu, pepper crusted chicken, steak, and gyudon - and they were all delicious, although a bit too oily. The items are actually quite cheap, considering how big the servings are din haha.

They have a really big menu too so there's sure to be something for everyone! 128077

This is a suuuuper delayed review!! 128541 We probably ate here in April or early May. Anyways, my Looloo app's been acting up hence the inability to post reviews.

John & Yoko replaced Marciano's, but when we ate there they still hadn't changed the interiors. Even the plates & (mason jar) glasses were still the same! 128539 Pretty odd for the Japanese theme, but okay. Haha.

I ordered their dynamite roll and it was good but way too salty. I think they added some sort of peppery seasoning that made it taste weird. I needed a glass of water for every bite. Intense!

We also ordered the pork teppan which came in a huge serving (for only 300-400++) and with Korean looking appetizers. What a steal! It tasted good as well; not the best I've tried but definitely one of the better ones out there. Their bacon wrapped asparagus was good too 9786

The menu is really wide and I'm pretty sure there's something for everyone here! Sushi, teriyaki, katsu, sukiyaki, grilled meat, ramen, etc. I honestly expected it to be more expensive because of the title "cosmopolitan" Japanese dining, but prices aren't that bad.

Wasn't able to take pics but the food was delicious!!! Everything was good. I recommend you try their Beef Tamago appetizer, Salmon Sashimi, Cold Soba and Kani Salad, Spicy Tuna Sashimi Salad, Crunchy Squid Teriyaki. Staff was friendly and accommodating. There were items we wanted to order like Gindara Teriyaki and Unagi, even ice cream and they weren't available. Sayang -- I hope they have those items available soon. Nonetheless we had a great Mother's Day lunch here. Definitely coming back for more!
