Look how their bowl is!!

BEST PARES I'VE EVER TASTED! (Maybe because their pares is the only one i've tasted << poor me but it is good) I forgot the price of the pares but we spent P169 w/ extra rice (i think). The rice was a sinangag or leftover rice tossed with whatever leftover food you have in the fridge (quite obvious) the rice was dry and quite hard, they filled up the bowl though. The pares is really meant for one person (sobrang nakakabitin) my friend and I shared kasi :(( pinipigilan ko nga sarili kong ubusin kaso nakakahiya kasi libre niya ahahaha.

They offer a variety of food but what shocked me the most is they have pastries and new york style cheesecake! Quite shocking kasi medyo carinderia. I wad trying to convince my friend to order the cheesecake but she believes that it would be a huge waste of money considering that those desserts were not meant for that place. Discriminating yes but I too find it weird but someday I'll try their dessert because it is weirdly served there.

Trying another pares joint because of Gel S and his pares addiction. Hayayay! I know I've tried this out before since during my time, there was one at the back pf UST but I really cannot remember its taste anymore.

I got a set meal which is comprised of beef pares, garlic rice, 2 pieces of siomai, soup and iced tea. This one costs P190 and I think if you order the pares and rice ala carte, it costs P120. It's on the high side compared to its neighbors. The pares soup, although very tasty, was a bit watery for me. The beef is very tender and from what I saw on their menu, their beef comes from the land down under, Aussie cow it is! 128046128046 The siomai was big and delicious.

My verdict: At P70 bucks, The Original Pares still owns my heart.

After the mass I just attended today for the feast of Lourdes, I decided just to walk from the church to Mayon,. and in my way i saw this resto, eversince I saw this., not just now but everytime I pass this I get curious what's with this resto and it's my chance. I went inside to look for something I can buy but the line is too long when all I am planning to buy is just one of their shake..I wait for a minute, di ko rin natiis kaya umalis nlng ako..ayun i continue to walk..I even thought I got lost because I forgot where is the right way..
( my patience is just short when it comes to long lines except if it's important) 128528128513

,.I love this place because it has my whole childhood written all over the place. My mom used to bring me and my siblings to this place and eat. Loved the pares before and still love it now.. :)

Their beef pares is still one to try when going to this place although the rice is a bit dry and would've been better if it was served still hot. A little pricey compared to the usual pares but the food makes up for it. No generous servings for the famished, though
