Station 1.
I loved the fruit shakes here. Very thick... Can i call it a smoothie?
The avocado banana i got last night was good.. I tasted sugar granules lng at the end.. Banana ised could have been more ripe.
The banana choco peanut and banana peanut dream were almost the same except the first has chocolate syrup. Both are thicker than usual because of the peanut used. Quite chunky.
Green mango was really sour.
Avocado bailey's today was awesome... Bailey's tendency is to settle at the bottom so have a stir before drinking.
Love these shakes!

was skeptical of the name and prices. Mango hake was just the same as jonah's. Pretty good. The food was pretty high if you are on a budget. We ordered their lechon kawali and karekare. Both were very good. I would now be coming to jonys every trip i take to boracay.

So I don't know which one's the original and which of them two offer the bests. Jony's or Jona's? Well, I had to try them both. I tried the best seller, Peanut Butter Dream, for P100. It was delicious, rich inflavor and not too sweet. I also like the place and the view of the beautiful waters of Boracay and the powder-like sand of Station 1. Also, if you're after a nice view of the sunset while eating dinner, this is the place. I did not try any of the dishes though..

Just the view alone merits this place a 5 star rating! Their veranda/terrace/whatever you call it is the best place to hang.

One of my favorite things to do on the beach is people watch. Wala lang aliw!

Okay na ko sa mango shake! Basta hindi maasim ang mangga, solved na. My cousin ordered banana nutella, I think. I took a sip, find it okay but not really my type.

Love their buko shake! Milky and coconutty, FTW! The perfect beach beverage!!! (Trumps ice cold beer for me :P)

I'm confused though...which one came first? This or Jonah's shakes?

I'm glad I read Lesley Ardelle E's review otherwise I wouldn't visit Jony's. Thanks for the reco Lesley Ardelle E and Jairus d! 128522

It is better than Jonah's! I tried Jonah's the day before for comparison (I ordered the same thing -- mango banana) and I find Jonah's shake overpowered by the milk and the banana. I can barely taste the mango. 128532

Jony's is much better! The mango, banana and milk flavors are perfectly balanced. It's slightly cheaper than Jonah's too. Plus the ambiance is nicer. 128522

Had the Buko shake and thought it was really good. The only downside were the coconut bits. I seriously wanted to borrow a strainer to filter out the bits which slightly choked me. LOL

I also tried Jennie V's watermelon shake. Yum! That variant was more refreshing than what I got.

Sulit and babalik balikan haha

I got my voice back 2 days after drinking the bananutella shake. It was time for another Jony's shake!!

The banana peanut butter, banana choco vanilla, and the bananutella still were very tempting, but I got the watermelon instead. Boring!

I ended up drinking 3/4 of my watermelon shake and 1/3 of Alexa's buko shake. No effect on my voice. Matabang daw! Hahaha!

Fruit shakes were normal, huge servings 128513

Jony's is partners with Mayas so yahooo!! Shakes with our Mayas brunch! Added this on my must try list after Jairus d recommended this to me.

Glanced at the menu and only one item caught my eye: BANANUTELLA!! So gooood!! And the glass is huge!!

My voice was normal before we started our meal, and it started to change while I was drinking my shake. Now I have no voice!!! (Minus one star. What's in that shake??)

But it was worth it!

I would have never tried Jony's if not for looloo. I saw Lesley Ardelle E's review and these are her words that made me go here: "ANG SARAP, ang sarap sarap sarap sarap!" Pag hindi ka pa naman napapunta nyan diba?!128514

I ordered their choco banana peanut shake & I'm so glad I was convinced by her review because it's really DELISH and better than Jonah's shake IMHO. It's bigger, cheaper and I can taste the flavors more.

It was so good that I had to order another round! So yeah, Jonah's shake killed it but Jony's version is a slayer yo! 128523

Cozier interior than Jonah's. Not as crowded so I'm not sure if that's a plus. Lesley recommended this so off I went here and skipped Jonah's na. Been there, done that.

I ordered take out Banana Choco Vanilla. Yummy. P95. My friend ordered the Bananutella which was also good. But they looked alike in take out mode. LOL.

Thanks, Les!128540

BORACAY'S ORIGINAL AND FAMOUS FRUIT SHAKES.

That's what it says on their sign, and the waiters attest to the fact that they are the original fruit shake place in Boracay, NOT Jonah's. Hehe.

Jony's and Jonah's shakes are equally delicious! The price range is almost the same. Some of Jony's shakes are a tad more expensive (like 5 or 10 bucks more), but I think their servings are larger. Their glasses have the same circumference but Jony's glass was taller. 128077

The place is also much much CLEANER and nicer looking. The restaurant is on the beach front, like Jonah's, but the difference is, the water does not reach up to the steps! At Jonah's, when you step down from the restaurant, you step down on the waves. It's ok if the water is clean, but the water in front of Jonah's is a bit icky, with foam and green moss. 128540 The interior design of Jony's is also very elegant: white walls, wooden furniture, nice ceiling fans. Jonah's interiors are a bit rustic, with a Mexican color scheme. It's so hot inside, too! Their electric fans are the wall mounted kind that's made of plastic! 128078 It's a lot breezier at Jony's, maybe because the ceiling is higher, and there are wall openings at the side and at the front.

What Jonah's has over Jony's is the pricing of their FOOD. Jonah's has affordable pica-pica under Php 150, so it's perfect for merienda. Jony's is partnered with the Mexican / Filipino restaurant Mayas, and their food is really expensive. Php 200 + for appetizers. 128557

But I don't go to Jonah's for the food, I go for the shakes, and the shakes are very filling already. So if I were to choose, I would rather go to Jony's for my fruit shake fix from now on. The setting is better, cooler, more relaxing, and cleaner! The view is better too. 128077

Oh, at Jony's, I ordered the Bananutella (shown on the lefthand side of the picture), and the following day I ordered the Banana Peanut Butter Dream (right side). 128536 ANG SARAP! Ang sarap sarap sarap sarap! Waaahh, I want to go back to Boracay now just to get my shake fix! It's so hot pa naman today!!! 128531
