Here’s what I got to try in the JT’s Manukan Grille in Bonifacio Global City:

Pecho (PHP115)
Grilled chicken breast with the wing

This grilled chicken has a nice, smoky aroma and flavor. Each bite is also moist, and it easily soaks up any extra chicken oil (annatto seed oil with salt and pepper) that I drizzle on it.
----
Garlic Rice (PHP30)

JT's garlic rice is one of my favorite garlic rice varieties as they are not shy with the crunchy garlic chips. The chips themselves have a strong aroma and flavor that contrasts the mild and moist rice. I suggest breaking the rice down from its dome-like mold so that it soaks up the chicken oil more easily.

I’ve been to JT’s Manukan Grill lots of times already because my mom is great friends with the wife of JT. I decided to go with my mom to meet up with her childhood best friend and a priest in this small restaurant for lunch.

I’m giving this place 5 stars not because we know the owners but I truly love how they cook their chicken. I ordered their Pecho (chicken breast w/ wings) – 105php and 2 Isols (chicken bottom) – 55php/isol. If isol isn’t that sinful, I could definitely eat a lot of it. Their food prices are just right. The size of their isol isn’t too big that’s why I ordered 2 sets of isol. Although it’s not that big, it’s juicy which makes you want to satisfy and savor the moment while eating it. Their Pecho wasn’t too dry that’s why I was able to finish it even though I ate 2 sets of isol. #MatakawMe.

The place is not that big. Their 2nd floor is more spacious in which we decided to stay at. Their servers were accommodating as well. I also know they serve alcoholic drinks since a lot of office workers would usually go here during night.

Among all the inasal restaurants I’ve tried, I would really have to say JT’s Manukan Grille is the best. When I go back, I hope their soups will be available this time. I truly miss eating bachoy hehehe.

P.S. Wasn’t able to take a picture because I was hungry AF.

We’ve tried a couple of dishes for the first time.
Munggo with langka and gata - tastes good! But 129 is too much. For munggo? Ok, 4 small shrimps.
Salted egg salad - its ok, nothing special. Typical ensalada.
We’ve got used to ordering dinuguan just to have something else apart from the bbq. Its not bad. But dont expect it to be like the kapampangan or tagalog level.

Its a good enough place to explore the Panay island style of cooking. I don't really know how much different drilled fast food chicken can get, but i like this better than the other inasal fast food. For a fast food, it's quite alright. I like that hey have chicken hearts, gizzards and liver bbq (they're an alternative to those who are on a silly diet or on a budget.
I guess I find the "kansi" a little underwhelming. Being Tagalog Im fond of sour soup, but I kept looking for that umami taste thats not typical of some (if not most) Visayan and Mindanaoan versions of nilaga and sinigang. But it's a good kind of different. It is also really good enough for a full meal w an extra cup of rice! 128522

It was an unplanned PokemonGo Boss Raid. I was with these 3 - the owl, the rat, and the cat. If you want to see our faces just check my IG account, @me_jonathan. The owl said, "Let's do one more raid." and we didn't stop until around 8PM to have dinner.

The cat decided to eat at TJ's. We ordered 4 Petcho, 1 Chicken Sisig, 2 Garlic Rice and 2 Plain Rice. The service was a bit slow. When the food arrived, they only served us with 3 pecho. When we told the server that we ordered 4 he said that we have to wait for another 10 minutes because they have to grill it. No apology or whatsoever. So, the cat just ate the sisig as his viand. (I'm sorry cat 128575).

Not that happy with the service we got but it didn't ruin our night. We had fun and were happy ending our day.

When I learned JT's Grill opened up in BGC, I said to myself to give it a try. I haven't been to JT's before because of location constraints and now is the good chance. All I know is that it serves Chicken Inasal and expectations were if it can beat the counterpart Mang Inasal. And I was wrong, to my dismay they were not offering unli rice and to top it all rice is not included when you order the chicken. It's not that I am a rice kind of person but I was expecting that it was at least a chicken meal. Also, the chicken oil is not complimentary as well, you have to pay 10 pesos for it. There's no complimentary soup also, you have to pay 30 pesos for the soup broth. I said to myself maybe the chicken would pull it off. Then finally it was served,.... Sadness again! The chicken portion was small. I did order for Pecho and it was small. The chicken was a bit dry as well. The only thing that saved the whole thing was the grilled Tilapia which I find tasty. As I was about to leave, I asked the waitress if I can get a leaflet of their menu and I was told that there were only few copies left and they could not hand out anymore. Overall , I am disappointed with the whole experience but I am willing to give JT Grille another try, perhaps on a different branch.

I was expecting more of a juicy flavor-rich inasal but its no different than your usual fastfood Mang Inasal. We ordered pa-a, sisig and chicken ass - the only item we enjoyed as it was flavorful and juicy (fatty). Took more than 20 mins before we were served with our order. A little pricey I think as the chicken does not come with a rice. I understand that they do not offer an unli-rice option but for small serving of steamed rice that cost 25 pesos? Come on...And you also have to pay extra for the chicken oil. Will I come back? Maybe. I'd say 6/10.

Ang Siga ng San Juan FC Post game analysis after winning second place of the Segunda division at the 4th Urban Football Tournament!

We deserved to celebrate despite being short of winning the championship, we knew we did very well and believed we should have been champs.

We also celebrated for having the best female player and goalkeeper!

Beer is always good when there's something to celebrate.

I like how it's kinda self service as the water, condiments, glasses, ICE!, and anything else you need is within reach. No need to call the waiters to get water and ice refills. So convenient and so affordable. Great place!

My friends and I were caught up in a wild traffic caused by the heavy downpour few weeks ago. It was when EDSA was congested and many people were stranded on the road. We're already at Buendia flyover going to EDSA when my friend decided to take the C5 entry and went straight to BGC. My friend suggested to have dinner here at JT's before braving the heavy traffic.

I got the Pecho part of the chicken and really liked it, especially when I paired it with garlic rice. We also had sisig for sharing and liked it too. The service can still be improved though, we had to remind the crew a few times about our orders and for our bill.

If you know where Skinny Mike's is you'll know where JTs is.

Anyway, after running errands in the morning, my dad and I had lunch here. We really wanted to eat in Sarsa but then the parking was full so we opted for this place cause my dad had to meet someone also in S&R after lunch so perfect! We both had chicken inasal! Paa. I had mine with garlic rice infused with garlic bits and chicken oil. I really enjoyed it. The size and flavor of the chicken was just right and the rice was soft and I didn't expect to like the chicken oil, they put just enough, not too much.

My dad decided to get some soup too, so I got an order of Kansi soup. It was a huge serving. The soup was addicting, probably the best Kansi soup I've ever had. And it's amazing how despite the heat of the day I still managed to enjoy the Kansi.

This honestly wouldn't be my first choice for eating out but it's on my list of cheap eats to try in the Fort area.

Do you want some Chicken Inasal in BGC? The best place to go is JT's manukan! :) Their grilled chicken was really good, tasty and fresh. It went well with a cup of garlic rice then dip it to a combination of soy sauce, calamansi and sili. We have also tried their pork bbq and it was also good.

P.S. JT's is usually full every Friday night since they offer a bucket of beer for a cheap price.

Had to eat here because Skinny Mike's ran out of Chicken Wings again. 128553

The chicken was okay. Mang Inasal's still bigger and better though.

One of the best tasting Chicken Inasal in Manila. Owned by Joel Torre, posters are usually hanged on the wall at all of their branches. Budget friendly place to grab a chicken inasal. I also love their Kansi soup, that would be perfect for your chicken.

Their chicken inasal (either leg or pecho) and chicken heart is one I keep on coming back for in this inasal kitchen/food joint. Very near to where I stay, JT Manukan is good for quick chicken inasal craving.
