Hubby spotted this newly opened branch of JT's while he was driving home earlier this week so we ended up having dinner here last night.

Hubby was ok with his Pecho. I was sad when I reached the part near the bones as some of it was red. I was almost done eating so I just carefully navigated my way around the chicken. The chicken tasted good and most parts were juicy.

I didn't touch the Isol (chicken bottom) which hubby enjoyed. Not a fan of laing but hubby liked the Pinangat.

The Atchara was a good palate cleanser. Quite a hefty serving for P15. It was sweet and sour at the same time.

I loved the oil and garlic bits on my rice.

This branch is still on soft opening. The servers mixed up the orders of the long table that arrived before us and they were starting to get restless.

There are a few parking slots in front of the building and some were double parked. It was a bit challenging to maneuver onto the street during rush hour.

Although food was good and affordable, parking and traffic in this area will make us think twice before heading back.

They are currently on their soft opening but the place was already jampacked even at 9:30pm on a Friday night!

The food tastes the same as the original branch in San Juan. Must try is the paa with a serving of garlic rice with chicken oil of course.

But some notes I would hope they would improve on would be the ff:

1. Cleanliness
- A handful of tables needed clearing and cleaning up to do. Even if the dishes were busted out, flies were preying on whatever residue was left on the table. So this was a big turn off for me.

2. Customer service
- Since they are new, I'd give them a chance to improve. They should be more attentive to the needs of their customers. And be more courteous. Smile more.

Maybe on my next visit it would be better?
