Passed by this cozy restaurant along capitol hills drive and their tugegarao longanisa was really good which i forgot to take a photo of. And their tapa was ok too and the hashbrown of course. I suggest you try the tongganisa?= tugegarao longanisa. I have tried pangasinans and vigan longanisa and their tongganisa is now my third fave. 128522

So since this is really near our house and after a sweaty jogging in UP we decided to eat here and try the food. While walking in, it really looked like a garage with a coffee shop on the side i think the place looks better at night.

When we went inside, and we sat down the waiter have the menu and i looked at the place and the menu for some reason i didnt feel comfortable eating there. So we decided to just order a dessert since i have this "dessert project" so i got this "Almond Shortcake" that is worth 170php which i find so amusingly expensive. So i told myself this better taste good.

Dessert project #8

Well i tasted the icing first... And it had an after taste and it taste old. You will know that it has been sitting on the cake fridge for a long time. Thank God the icing is not gritty. So the cake part, it was dry and gritty.. You can feel the flour crumbling on ur mouth and you cant even taste the almond. The cake was placed in a microwaveable plastic which make the cake jump around while i was in the car.

So it felt bad, spending 170php for the cake.
If the owner really cares for his store he would take action with the pastries since they promote their coffee so much. Pastries and coffee go hand and hand.
