Space is very spacious and clean!
Service is quite good.

Inihaw na liempo - 4/5 (your typical inihaw, nothing special)
Sisig - 3/5 (a bit salty for me)
Chopsuey - 3/5 (serving was not that generous)

This is a 287 pesos set meal letter F. Lol. Went to Pampanga with a "friend" to visit relatives and some loved ones who already passed away. Went here for lunch since I heard they have really good sisig. Glad To try it! Their sisig won't disappoint you but what I like most is their pork barbecue, sweet and spicy and really chunky no wonder it is 65 pesos per stick. All in all food here is really tasty and yummy but I won't say affordable. I was actually shocked with the price range. But happy to try it out. 128523128523128523

I was never really fan of sisig. Maybe because most of them includes liver?! Well, until I found the right that suits my taste buds. This restaurant serves also the "best" barbeque in town. And yes, you read it right..let's just say better than Inengs or Reyes.

Their sisig is not the oily type which mostly serve here in Manila. Openly grilled and chopped finely with bites of onion and finger chili. The BBQ was too much delicious for me that I need to next 3 spoons of adobo rive after a bite of the meat.

The place was typically old chinese restaurant type. Fit for family and friends by the way.

Chicken & pork bbq, sisig and chopseuy are few of their best sellers. Also, bibingka which tastes like a muffin or something close to it. They sell drinks that are in big containers: 1.5 or 2L of soft drinks. But they also serve buko juice and other beverages. Your kids can even play at their play pen located at the center of the restaurant. Their CR are at the back, left wing. Yes, they're all clean and complete from soap to tissue. You can also choose your seats: open area (left side) or the one with cool air (airconditioned-right side).

I grew up eating their famous chicken bbq with fried rice and their amazing secret bbq sauce. Seriously my family eats here all the time specially when we all got lazy making dinner. We even use our hands to eat, the place is unpretencious and very comfy. We practicaly grew up with the other patrons and the vibe feels very much like home.

Ahhh that juicy chicken, charred at the right places... Makes me hungry just thinking of it.
But really the clicher is their bbq sauce! My mom even tried replicating it but the original is still the best. Sweet, smoky smooth...Mmm Mmm Mmmm... Smother that on an old shoe and I will probably eat it (probably!)

When I went to Pampanga for the Hot Air Balloon Festival, I was excited to try the different restaurants there. I had always heard about amazing culinary adventures from my Kapampangan friends and wanted to embark on my own. Time constraints led me to a BBQ joint in San Fernando, where the only adventure was trying to get the waiter's attention.

When we walked in to the restaurant, there were about four occupied tables and the rest had the remains of previous customers' meals. No one was cleaning the tables after the customers left! We found one clean table at the back and got menus on our own.

After some time, a waiter finally decided to come to our table. We ordered BBQ and sisig. About 20 stomach-grumbling minutes later, our meal arrived.

The food was decent. The servings were more than I expected. And the BBQ sauce that they served was good. (Read: Sweet.) I wanted to order bibingka to take home, but I was afraid it would take another half hour.

I suppose Jun-Jun's is known to be one of those places with good food and bad service. But in my opinion, their food was only okay and it wasn't enough to overshadow the poor service. I really want to give them just 2.5 stars. But I'll round up to 3 because I left with a full stomach.
