My toddler loved their chicken noodle soup! We had tilapia, pepper squid and pad thai, all good.

Just Thai is a quaint little Thai restaurant located in the middle of Molito Complex in Alabang. Overlooking the greens and fountain, the restaurant offers a good view when there are events at the central park during weekends. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who (by no surprise) also lives in the South. We had the following:

Thai Spring Rolls - crisp and delicious vegetable spring rolls. The vermicelli noodles are kept moist and the thickness of the wrapper was just right.

Fish Cakes - these fish cakes are dotted with chili but was not distractingly spicy (to my surprise). It was equally delicious and not oily at all.

Crispy Catfish Salad - Hardly tasted the catfish. Was it the flakes on top? The mango salad was deliciously tart. It complimented the crispy shredded catfish. It was more like flossed in its consistency.

Seafood in Basil - generous serving of squid, fish and prawns. The sauce was creamy and the crisp fried basil lend an earthy fresh taste to the entire dish.

Crispy Fillet of Fried Tilapia with Tamarind or Sweet Chili Sauce - fillet and presented whole, this is a Tilapia dish good for sharing with the entire family! A nice centerpiece for dinner or lunch. The fish was moist and good even without the sauce.

Pandan Wrapped Chicken - pandan flavored chicken, fried. The chicken though was a bit tough but the flavors were there.

Prawns in Garlic and Pepper - huge garlicky prawns. This is a hit! Moist, perfectly season prawns with lots of garlic and an ample amount of red bell peppers.

Crabmeat Fried Rice - Good enough for at least two to three, this fried rice is packed with crabmeat and loads of other ingredients. Good enough to be a meal in itself.

Bagoong Fried Rice - A little too salty for my taste. The rice was really dark from the bagoong.

Pad Thai - well balanced dish. The noodles were silky smooth to the taste. The added lime and chili was a great touch to the dish.

Beef Noodle Soup - satisfying and warm! The broth was flavorful and the beef 'CHUCKS' were generous!

Seafood Curry Soup - Another noodle dish to warm the soul. The was seafood and curry was enough to satisfy your cravings.

Sticky Rice and Mango. 'BAKE' no mistake about it. This is one of the dishes that cemented Thailand on the culinary world map. The mango was a 'SWEET SIDEKICK' to the rice and the added coconut cream was decadent. Although I still prefer our local 'suman' dipped in 'chocolate' over this.

It was 'NOODLES' of fun to dine at Just Thai. Service was fast, but can be more proactive when refilling water, checking on plates and such. I saw on a poster that they have an ongoing weekday afternoon promo on their noodles - buy one get one free. Call in to confirm. Recommended.

The quality of the food doesn't justify the wait.

Bagoong rice for me was too salty. Beef wasn't tender. The brussel sprouts in the pad thai was so undercooked. Other food was average and the servings are small.

The queue was horrible. 5 tables and i think I saw one dedicated waiter. The other person had to go in and out of the kitchen who i think had to help out the chef cook just to keep up and then after all that food was average. At least the staff was friendly even if they, or rather he, was obviously swamped. That's the only reason I'm not going one star on this.

I honestly don't think I'd ever eat here again especially given the other choices nearby.

I may have stayed only a day in Bangkok but i spent it trying their Pad Thai and it was worth it. Since then I have always been in quest of the best authentic Pad Thai here in the Metro.

When a friend brought me in Molito to try out Just Thai, I did not find only the best Pad Tai but i get to taste as well and enjoy several Thai dishes. And it was the best lunch ever.

We gorged on their salad and I cannot decide between Som Tam (Green Papaya Salad) or the Yam Neua (Beef Salad) because each have a unique taste of their own. I love how sour the Som Tam is and the kick it gives to my palate is refreshing but the Yam Neua is so flavorful and the beef so tender.

Just Thai's Pla Muk Tod (Fried Calamari) is so crunchy and the squid soft. You won't even need to dip in the sauce because its delcious on its own. And who could forget the to-die-for Moo Grub (Crunchy Pork Belly) it is best served with Rice. There's no other word for how yummy it was.

I know we were pigging out that day but we can't resist ordering the Pad Gaprow Talay (Seafood in Basil)

But the best is yet to come as our Pad Thai were served. I only have my memory to cling on to but this Pad Thai is at par with the one I have in Bangkok. its sweet salty combination always is the best.

We devoured all this food with their Thai Milk tea and finished it with Sticky Rice with Mango. Not our usual sweet dessert but the mangoes are sweet and the cream poured over it makes it more irresistible not to eat.

I will be back here at Just Thai, definitely!

I am an avid fan of Thai dishes, so I collect thai restaurants. The only struggle here is where to find budget friendly restaurants that offer authentic thai dishes. But not until I discovered Just Thai at Molito Alabang. As soon as I enter the area, I felt the overwhelming thai feeling. Since they are playing a soft music that will lullaby you, and the interior designs are thai inspired also.

So to set an expectation what they can offer, I ordered their Thai Iced Tea. Well atleast, I will have the idea what to expect. But I was shocked after trying their tea. This is what I am looking for so long! So my adrenaline is up and I am excited to order for more. I ordered their Fried Calamari, Crispy Fillet of fried Tilapia, Crunchy Pork Belly and Chicken in Green Curry. And I must say they exceeded my expectation when it comes to looking for authentic thai dishes. Not to mention they are affordable too! So for someone who is really hardcore when it comes to thai dishes, come and visit Just Thai. They are worth it.

Just Thai is probably one of the best Thai restaurant you should eat at. The food doesn't just look good but they taste delicious. My personal favorites are the Pad Thai, Seafood and basil, squid and garlic and pepper and Crab Meat rice. One of the best tasting Pad Thai that I have ever eaten, don't worry the spice won't be mixed if you don't want it to be but if you do ready yourself because it is really hot. Seafood and basil are my mom and nephew's favorites, the basil isn't overpowering and is just right. Squid and garlic and pepper is one of my brother's favorite, the squid isn't tiny and isn't too spicy. Crab Meat rice is perfect for people who loves seafood, the crab is fresh and goes well with the other dishes. The two desserts that are my favorite are the sticky rice with mango and Ta Kho. Sticky rice with mango is like suman but it's topped off with mango and coconut milk, it tastes like heaven. Ta Kho is made from coconut, pandan and corn. I could eat three whenever I still have room in my stomach after eating.

For the south people, go and visit them. The food is wonderful and so is the place. They're open this Holy Week too! Those who aren't from the south, there are other branches too!

We tried out Just Thai in Molito Complex, Alabang last night, since we were hankering for comfort Thai food, and a friend said theirs was quite good, as well as reasonably priced. We tried out their Tom Kha Gai, coconut broth with lemongrass, chicken, and mushroom; Spicy Pork; and Thai Iced Tea. Their menu wasn't extensive, though, and only offered standard Thai dishes.

The soup was good - the broth was creamy, and the taste of the lemongrass was pronounced, without being overpowering. The Spicy Pork, on the other hand, had a nice spicy bite to it - my only complaint would be that the pork they used were sliced very thinly, maybe to make the dish more plentiful than it actually is. The Iced Tea was good too, with that tart lemon taste that tempered the creaminess of the drink.

What was truly commendable, though, was the service. The waiters were polite and attentive - dishes were cleared almost instantly, water refills done quickly, toothpicks and more napkins provided at the end of the meal. I was impressed and delighted.

Will we be back again? I think so! 128077

Went here to celebrate Mothers' Day (late post!) The food was really prepared well. We got their bagoong rice, tofu soup (in the photo) and sautéed seafood. Bill was around P1k but it was really worth the pricey-ness.

The ambiance was relaxing - place was quite dark, with matching Thai music (like those played in spas). Ideal for dinner dates or family dinners with big kids. Service was also very good.

I love Thai food because it resembles Filipino food so it's comforting for my tastebuds, but it's different because it is spicy and it's got a lot of tastes combined, mostly of lemongrass and other herbs. It wasn't a planned visit to Just Thai. Me and hubby got served badly at the nearby Korean grill (SogaMiga) so out of spite we moved to this place, and what do you know, we loved it! Their staff was really accomodating and we loved how our server suggested the goodies.

We ordered Pad Kaprow Talay (mixed seafood). It is so good! It's coconutty and spicy and herby and it is seafood! The Thai fried chicken is also good. It's a simple dish consisting of marinated chicken, fried to perfection, with sweet chili sauce on the side to complement it. Of course it goes well with their bagoong fried rice. We had Thai iced tea and Tamarind juice to drink. Price? Quite high but I'd say it's worth every cent. I would definitely go back to try their other dishes.

The interiors are lovely, but i don't feel like i'm transported to Thailand. I brought my dad here because we like exotic food. Well, not too exotic food naman.

This is the second time for me to dine in this restaurant and though the servings are quite generous, nothing was astoundingly good. The selection is also very limited. We had some spicy beef noodles, a bowl of tom yum goong, the seafood and vegetable curry (i think) and i had a thai iced tea (which wasn't good by the way.)

We were the only ones there and service sucked. My dads beer was forgotten and the waiters didn't feel like they wanted to be attentive. Kinda disappointing on a Sunday night.

They have a group menu if you're dining with a bigger group, but it involves rice, something that i love and therefore abstaining from for a few more weeks.

I don't feel like coming back here and wouldn't recommend it to anyone as well.

Tom Yum and Pandan chicken was OK. Thai Iced Milk Tea was OK. Place was OK. The only special treat in this place is the guy in barong who goes about his work sincerely well. Good job to ya bro!

They try to take it from us but we're never gonna give it away. We just go oh, woaaaah. - Rasmus Faber

We go oh actually has a summer feel because it makes me feel carefree. That's how i feel walking around in this area. I feel relaxed, comfy, carefree and secure. Hope this doesn't change.

Although Just Thai may not be entirely new, I like that there are so many restos to try out in the Molito carpark. To think i used looloo to find a resto in molito.

I enjoyed Just Thai's Milk tea and it was something i was looking forward to despite the bad reviews. The thai beef salad was refreshing! We ordered chicken pandan and the bagoong rice and it was good for sharing, especially if you're a group of 4. We were only two and had large appetites but we still did not finish the food. Overall, it was just OK. Nothing stellar.

When you order the beef noodle soup, ask first or a sample taste of the stock since it's very spicy. Order the thai iced tea without the ice then ask or an extra glass with ice. It makes two.
