This is the first bar in the Philippines where we had sisig and a bucket of San Miguel, and I'm pretty sure it's still the best deal on the metro! We've been here many times for a fun evening with friends; it's cozy and it's fun.

The best chicken ass a.k.a. (Pwet ni rosendo) best paired with their peanut sauce (Ka Beros) version

Try also the sizzling bulalo!

Price is cheap. Even students can afford!

The only downside is the availability of parking. You have to early.

This like central boy grill but more quiet and intimate. You chat with your friends more comfortably without loud musics. My favorite is sinuglaw.

Let me do a belated review of Ka Bero's. Have heard it many times from friends living near the area but have never paid much attention to it. My interest was started to be piqued sometime towards the end of last year so I decided to go with a friend who also happened to be a first timer.

Food and drinks are cheap so if you are on a tight budget and you simply wanted to hang around with friends for some bottles of San Mig light in buckets, then this is the place. Come in the most casual clothes you can wear since this is more on the league of friendly neighborhood beer joints. The atmosphere is nice, the toilets are clean and the food is passable. BUT don't forget to order the "puwet ng manok". This is their best seller and once you tasted it, you can easily tell why it's a staple among its habitues.

I actually miss this place. Haven't visited it for months already. Maybe I should go again, now if I could only drag my friend once more.
