Our team went here on a Friday night. The place was jam-packed but luckily we were able to get a table. We ordered some bestsellers but the manager came back to tell us that they weren't available anymore. And take note, this happened at least 3 times! How unfortunate.
Anyway, I like how the place looks. Cost of food is quite affordable too.
I recommend this place if you want to have a few drinks too since they have buy one take one promo. Not bad! 🏼

We had our team lunch at the newly renovated Kabisera in BGC Highstreet. The place looks way better than it used to be.
We ordered several viands: crispy pata, lechon kawali, kare kare, pork & beef sisig, and bbq chicken. Of all the ones mentioned, I like the crispy pata and prok & beef sisig the most. I like the crispyness of the pork skin in the crispy pata, and the pork & beef bits of the sisig.
Service-wise, they did good. However, there were times when a colleague of mine had to go down to just to call a waiter.
The only downer for me is their limited menu. There were very few soup-based meals in comparison to dry/fried ones.

My BF and I went to the Great British Festival last night at Bonifacio High Street and was quite disappointed that there were fewer choices of food stalls in the festival this year. So we opted to go to Kabisera to check out the place and to also visit my friend who works there.
Since we aren't really that hungry, we just ordered the Beef Salpicao (Php 380.00), two plain rice, and the Liempo Chips, which were garlic-flavored and crispy by the way, for Php 120.00.
There's no service charge here so food and drinks are really a bargain.
For drinks, we had the Sago't Gulaman with Whisky. It was soooooo good!! (Php 295.00/carafe)
The place has a chill vibe, looks industrial, and the staff were attentive. Most of the guests that night were family ns big groups of friends.
I will go back to this place to try their Kare Kare (best-seller they said) for Php 495.00
Thanks Jayson and to all the staff there! ️

We had sinampalukang lechon manok and buridibud and it was just okay. Sinampalukang manok didnt have veggies that should go with it but the soup was good. Buridibud didnt have swet potato which shouldve made it a thicker soup. Me and my friend were craving for really food Filipino food but what we had didnt really satisfy our craving.

This is where I first had Sinigang na Lechon. It was oily understandably, you can also taste the tanglad from the lechon in the soup. We paired it with Pinakbet, Sisig and SanMig Light below zero. Yum!
Service is a bit slow though. took awhile before our orders arrived and it's hard to get the attention of the waiters.

Just an ordinary Filipino restaurant.. Why is Dencio's sisig not sizzling???? Chicken binakol was good though i feel the serving is only good for 2 pax..

A more expensive and better version of Dencio's dishes.

For value, we weren't impressed with their dishes. Molo Iloilo, Tortang Talong with Crabmeat and Dinakdakan.
However, the Kilawing Salmon was the saving grace. Perfect vinaigrette to the freshness of the fish. But it could've been better if they used Malasuge instead.

kabisera was ok. but the service was good.
we arrived around 8pm and there were 10 of us. the place was packed and there were a lot of people waiting as well. in less than 10 minutes, we were seated already. either we were lucky or we arrived just in time.
the ambience was good with minimal lighting. the acoustics was nice. even if there were a lot of people, the place was not so noisy. or maybe i was hearing the loud and happy voices of my friends.
we ordered simple food:
-kangkong with bagnet .. this was ok. the kangkong was a bit overcooked but still tasted good.
-pork sisig with egg .. this was ok too.
-inihaw na liempo .. this was ok as well. but they skimped on the sauce. there was only a tiny bowl for an order. i know you can ask for more but they could've serve it in a bigger bowl.
-bottomless iced tea (8o'clock) .. a bit sweet because they skimped on the ice.
overall, i like the place even if the comfort food was ok. and because the service was excellent, i give this place 4 stars.
before i forget, the name of our server was cherry. and an alicia silverstone look-alike was there with her friends. eye candy!!!

First time to try Kabisera. The place is dimly lighted. Nice ambiance except for the stinky smell when i first stepped in the place. Meals are good for 2-4.
Food? The BEST ones that i could recommend that ive tried:
Kilawing Salmon, Crispy Pata, krispy sisig, sinigang na hipon, adobong pusit rice... The Bringhe rice felt like youre eacting Bico the kakanin coz its kinda sticky and sweet.
They should work on the smelly feel tho.

Went here on a Sunday with mom, aunts and sibs.
Since the parentals wants Filipino dish, we brought them here (our treat, me and my sibs)
We ordered mainly the best dishes and it only costs us around 2k. Sulit na busog pa!
Gotta say that I even love the place more kasi it was not jam packed even on a Sunday, we were the only customers on the top floor.

The problem with catch up reviews like this one is that the details become sketchy. I recall a lunch meeting and making a mental note to add this visit to my attempts at being healthy.
While I tasted the Inihaw na Liempo (which was tender but a wee bit salty) I did not indulge myself and limited my share to one piece. (I tell you that has been the strongest test of my will power since start of the year!)
I do remember enjoying the Ukoy very much. It was crunchy and not at all fishy. The vinegar dip was a perfect complement and added a slight spicy flavor to the mix.
What cannot escape my memory though is the Pakbet with Bangus. I love the combination of flavors in Pakbet and their version only served to cement this love even more. The addition of bangus was a treat (am not a fan of bangus belly so I carefully stayed with other portions of the fish) and a welcome replacement to traditional pork.
I did not order the turon but tasted their version. They had 3 variants in 1 serving; banana, langka and ube. Flavorful but I remember it being oily or cooked in old oil.
I guess that's all that matters so Kabisera gets 4 stars from me!

BF Duties after the eatup brought me here. Sorry ulit Jairus d, Russel F and Trixia C. Haha.
I met with the girls at Nolita where I ended up eating their left overs, so that's unreviewable. Haha. Then we decided to have a quick drink here at Kabisera.
So we ordered our own respective drinks. SML for me. Sangria for le GF, I forgot what Marie had and Pale Pilsen for her friend.
My SML and the Pale Pilsen was served first. At that point when I saw the waiter bring two of each is when I remembered it's a buy 1 take 1 thing at Kabisera. Except for the big bottles I think. Almost every drink in their menu comes in twos. P90 for an order of SML. Making it P45 each.
So the girls with the chick drinks had two of each which they really couldn't finish. But at least they tried.
We were good with our beers. :)

Had lunch with my former team today. It's the normal Dencio's cooking so we ordered the usual - sisig and kare kare. But what I liked most was a wild card order. Seafood binakol!
It's mixed seafood (with NZ mussels if I may add) in coconut broth. It's a must try!
Oh and sit in the kabisera so you get a free iced tea!
