When you're headed north, be sure to stop by this hole-in-the-wall resto. It's easy to miss as the sign is sometimes camouflaged by the surrounding trees on the highway.
This place is for adventurous eaters as they always have something exotic on the menu like buus salad, which is locally known as hantik. They gather the eggs and mix it with salt and spring onions. If you're lucky, you may even chance upon their deep fried cricket.
The place regularly serves tinolang native na manok and organic red rice, and the tinolang manok is what really made us decide to keep this as our staple stopover whenever we drive home to Isabela. Eating here is like a welcome home party!
