A friend of mine introduce me to the so-called "Japanese Carinderia" in Makati City.

The place is a typical carinderia with Japanese lantern and ornaments.

The server wears Japanese attire that compliments well with the Japanese concept of the carinderia.

I ordered their Spicy Tuna Maki and Gyudon.

Spicy Tuna Maki is flavorful. The flavors of tuna can be tasted with a tinge of sweet flavor coming from the mayonnaise and a spicy aftertaste from the chili. The cucumber inside the Maki added texture and crunchiness on the former.

Their Gydon has the perfect sweet flavor. The glass noodles is tender and every ingredients in the latter blends perfectly with each other.

Over all Kaito Japanese Carinderia can provide flavorful Japanese Dishes to Filipino at an affordable price.

Omu rice bulgogi was so delicious!!!
I always eat here. :)

One of my fave ramen is the Chasu Men :)
But the shouyo (cheapest ramen) is good as well :)

I haven't tasted their Gyoza :( It's always out of stock :(

4-stars for their gyudon! 128077🏼I'll try the ramen some other time (since this is just walking distance from our house) Their are only 4-5 tables I think.
Service was good as well by the way :)
Make this carinderia more popular and they might think of moving into a better location :) But I think the location is good already since this part of Bangkal is quiet :)

if you happen to pass-by Bangkal, Evangelista near DMCI Homes Main Office, you can find this Japanese Carinderia. they offer the most affordable Japanese meals like ramens, bento box, donburi and other Japanese food. Also, their chefs are in Japanese attire which add to the Japan-like atmosphere. 🇯🇵127858127860

An awesome discovery! This ain't Little Tokyo in Makati Cinema Square...it's a Japanese Resto Carinderia Style along Apolinario Street, Bangkal Makati. So cute of them to dress the part despite the crank space and heat from the cooking station and PH weather! And it ain't self-service as servers will greet you, take your orders, serve them and deliver the billing to your table similar to what normal restos do.

Ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Bento and Shouyu Ramen plus another Bulgogi Bento for hubby. Paid only P275 in total (drinks included)! Carinderia portions with authentic Japanese taste and presentation. Thumbs up to customer service too! They better add more seats as we were lucky to get one when we arrived Thursday night. This joint fills up pretty quick!

Food here ranges from P50 to P150. Sweet! 128523
