Chicken teriyaki is sort of ok.. not so bad but worth it. Its only 99 pesos
All of the price is so affordable but the taste and presentaion.. they should improve it.

The place looks very nice but I was immediately apprehensive when i checked the menu. I like bargains as much as the next guy but a decent Japanese restaurant would NOT have prices I saw on Kaizu's menu if the quality of food they serve would be of the excellent quality we have come to expect of Japanese restaurants. Tokyo tokyo and karate kid may have substituted special sauces for generic ones and removed some ingredients altogether to make their menu more affordable but at least their food is presentable and the taste is predictable to a degree of comfort. This restaurant made their place fancy to hide the surprises underneath. Me and my family ordered katsudon, kani salad and the seafood ramen. The least offensive was the kani salad. It was merely lacking in ingredients. The katsudon was tasteless and some parts of the meat were still cold! The final straw was the seafood ramen. We asked for bowls to divide the ramen between ourselves. I put my fork in and came out with..... nothing. The noodles were shredded into little pieces. The longest piece was only about 2 inches long! My father also saved us from a case of potential food poisoning. He didn't like the color of the clams that came with the ramen and tried one. To nobody's surprise at this point, the clams were bad. I was too upset and forgot to take a picture of the disappointing dinner we had.

We already have a fair share of Korean restaurants in the city. As a Japanese food lover, I'm looking and hoping for more Jap restaus soon!

This one is newly opened in Veranza Mall.

Disappointing experience. Only the okonomiyaki was tolerable. Thin layers and far from Dohtonbori's but was decent. Really cheap at 99PHP.

My friends ordered the Kani Mango Salad and Oyakodon. Both were disappointing. The salad had this supposedly crispy white strips that tasted like plastic and hard to chew. Oyakodon was underwhelming, too far from the one in the picture. Just some steamed chicken with egg.

Their matcha ice cream was good though! The highlight of this visit. Though quite icey, the matcha taste was good. Not too sweet nor too bitter.
