Date of Visit: 05/20/2016.

The waiter was very accommodating! We loved the ambiance and the food, most especially the Sukiyaki! Aside from that, we ordered Squid Teriyaki, Crab Rice, and 2 servings of Ebi Tempura. Our baby Chef enjoyed eating there too!

Japanese can never be wrong, no no!

These California Maki and Crab Stick Rolls tasted just OK for me, nothing too remarkable at all. They actually didn't taste fresh and new and I was a bit sad about that.

My first time to try kamameshi house. I loved the food. 128525
we ordered mixed kamameshi rice (veggies, chicken & shrimp), and their yakitoris - chicken, wings, liver, quail eggs, & shitake. Tempura, Beef teppan and salmon sashimi. Everything was so good even the free appetizer of togue and dilis. 128539

Kamameshi House is the place to be whenever you crave for authentic Japanese food. It also happens to be the place responsible for my undying love for Japanese cuisine. 10084128557

✔️ They never serve anything that looks like it's been in the refrigerator for ages. Everything's fresh from the raw sashimi to the vegetables to the cooked meat. You could easily tell if your food has just been recently thawed or recently caught and Kamameshi House basically taught me how to distinguish both from one another.

✔️ Staff is great and there's this one waiter (who I've never been able to identify by name due to the excitement of ordering and eating huhu 128557 I swear I'd ask for his name the next time we visit) who would always greet us with a huge smile on his face and start some small talk. Eversince I was little, we would constantly visit Kamameshi and up until now, he's still our server. I think he's been there for 10 years now or even more so small talk with him is never awkward 128077

✔️ Place is very cozy. Hues of yellow and brown give out a mellow aura, making you feel at home and at the same time makw you feel like you're in Japan somehow.

✔️ Taste? Do I even have to bother describing? BEST. JAPANESE. FOOD. EVER. Although, if you're in a tight budget, great authentic Jap food is usually accompanied by high costs. Food usually ranges from Php 400-2000 (estimated) per dish. I highly encourage that you bring your parents here LOL 128514

I also encourage you to try it out here. Just once. You'll see why this place is the reason behind my amour for Japanese food. I guarantee that after 1 visit, you'll be back for more 10084

I would've given a perfect score if it wasn't for the service last night. Since we were the only ones dining, servers were a bit off and were seriously clumped together in one corner watching tv. Some were asleep and others had their japanese outfits unbuttoned and basta, madungis. The other servers pa were scratching their eyes and yawning as if they really had just gotten up. Anyways, on the food..

I still love this place. Even after 15 years, I'm still overly inlove with their Kani Kamameshi plus Gyuniku teppan!128523 We also ordered some salmon sashimi, agedashi tofu and spicy tuna toro. The free appetizer was still the same, togue and dilis. Mine had a strand of hair but decided not to complain about it nalang.128533

This place honestly serves good food but needs to REVAMP! From the place to the servers, lahat!

service was slow today & aircon was hot when we got there. we asked to be moved so we can be cooler. there were 4 of us for a total bill of P4,400.75.

we ordered:
2 tori kamameshi .. simply the best
1 ebi tempura .. ordinary
vegetable tempura .. ordinary
4 sticks of yakitori .. the best yakitori in manila
zaru soba .. wifey's favorite jap noodles
chawan mushi .. jap cold taho
3 misoshiru .. ok
california maki special .. ordinary
2 salmon sashimi .. ordinary
tofu steak with asparagus .. big serving!!
shiromi teppanyaki .. ok
yaki soba .. nothing close to the instant noodle kind.

usually when we go to this place, there's nobody around. first time we went on a sunday night it was packed!! so we understand service was bad. at least the waiters were apologetic.

the free dilis and touge was served twenty minutes after we sat down. the salmon sashimi was served when we were half way done eating.

Comfort food on a busy Friday.... Aaah. Thank God for Kamameshi. Was feeling stressed out from a morning meeting near Batasan and had to take a break. Clear my head. What better way to feel good than to indulge in nice, clean-tasting, refreshing Japanese cuisine!

It was nice to get some crunchy anchovies with moyashi goma ae (bean sprouts). Reminds me of the old Dai-Ichi at Magallanes (good childhood memory of frequent family Sunday dinners there after mass). House tea relaxed me before taking in all the good food. Tried the hiyashi somen (thin cold white noodles, not in photo) instead of the usual cha soba or zaru soba. Still yummy but realized cha and zaru are always much better. Of course, my ultimate Japanese comfort food (no, not edamame)...Shake sashimi!!! Salmon is always awesome on a semi-bad day. :)

The sashimi was a bit pricey but lots of pieces (nine pieces for Php415) but the other orders were priced reasonably.

Service staff nice and helpful. Place was perfect to chill out at because it was quiet and had private spaces for conversation and a handful of what I call "think spots." :)

It was nice to revisit an old pitstop from some years back when Quezon City meetings were weekly. It actually looks better now (not dilapidated like my very last visit some four years ago).

Okay, sorry for the food log backtrack flood! I promise this is the last one (for the night/morning)!

For the love of all that is good in the world, i actually still don't know how to bike. After hearing from a friend that they rented out bikes at the QC circle, we couldn't help but try and take a visit!!! 128514 afterwards we were famished(and i still dint learn bahaha)! But anyway, yey for food places!!!

Kamameshi house was real pretty! They had a bridge inside the restaurant! Complete with a pond! When we got there, they had just opened for the day and there were no other people! So we got a really sweet spot! 128514

Yummy kamameshi rice is yummy! And for it alone, 5 stars!! 128514128514 no need for any other viand haha but of course we bought the chicken kaarage and the yakitori! Both pretty yummy as well!!!!

Super must try!!!

Been going to this branch ever since I was young and must I say, they never changed! Service and foodwise. Everything I ate was fresh and clean and tender. 128525 It is kinda costly to eat here but wth it's really worth it! And it doesn't hurt when you're with your parents! 128514

Kamameshi is still the best japanese resto for me. So far, I haven't been to any other resto that would beat Kamameshi. 128077 So if you're craving for 'authentic japanese food', I suggest that you go here. 10084

The New Kamameshi House is located right at the heart of Quezon City Memorial Circle, facing the Quezon City Hall and right beside Max’s Fried Chicken. There are also branches in Tomas Morato and Makati. I’ve been a regular in the restaurant since I was little and it has always been my family’s go-to place for Japanese craving whenever there’s a special occasion or just a typical family day out. We’ve already celebrated countless occassions such as birthdays and graduations. It definitely has a special place in my heart.

As soon as you walk in, you’re welcomed by its classy and cozy Japanese interior. I’ve always admired the restaurant’s design and overall vibe. It is very spacious and can acommodate large groups. It also has two function rooms for those who want to have an intimate celebration with their loved ones.
