Always a go-to place for my family whenever we visit my Dad's hometown. This is original Palaisdaan before the rest had their own versions. They used to serve food only but now they cater events and even have their own accommodation, so it's a good deal.

What I love about this place is that it's cheap but their food is delicious. Mind me also when I say big servings. The place is highly recommended for big groups or family gathering. Our usual orders are the ginataang tilapia in 3-4 big tilapias in coconut milk. Their servings of liempo is also good. Perfect for that kamayan party. Forget your utensils my friends! Haha. Not to mention that sisig right there where its spiciness will just make you crave for rice even more. we also tried their kare-kare and salad.

At their lobby there are also sellers of kakanins like pilipit (mashed squashed in sticky rice fried with brown sugar) and buchi, which is also a hit for anyone who visits the place. You can just also hit the bamboo at your kubo whenever you feel like having another round of food. Staffs are accommodating and quick to respond. For a family or friends lunch out within the budget and around the area, this is a blessing!! Definitely a must to visit when in Quezon

If you are looking for a place at Tayabas, Quezon where you can eat good Filipino food while you'll get to relax with your family, friends, colleagues, go check out KAMAYAN SA PALAISDAAN.

Kamayan sa Palaisdaan is an ideal restaurant and spot to check out for both Filipino and seafood lovers as the name suggests.

The very traditional looking restaurant has nipa huts that can actually transport you back in time where every single place looks like the province, surrounded with greens and browns, no buildings and large structures found.

Given its location, you'll definitely feel, smell and love the fresh air that the trees will surround you with. The very peaceful and calming vibes shall make you want to just rest, relax and sleep after eating good food!

Kamayan Sa Palaisdaan restaurant's menu offers a lot of delectable and yummy fish and seafood dishes to some meats and vegetables given that the restaurant us located in Tayabas.

From grilled to items with soup to fried and steamed, you have a lot to choose from and you'll definitely find it hard to decide.

We ordered their Bangus Sisig, Fried Daing na Bangus, Tortang Talong, Vegetable Pakbet, Binagoongan and some rice and soup served on the sides of the dahon ng saging.

This boodle fight set is actually sulit especially when you're with a big group sharing for the expenses. The servings were good for groups and the flavors of the food came well altogether.

The Bangus Sisig was yummy. It's not too oily and greasy. It's actually better with toyomansi sauce on the side to gave it that salty kick. The usual daing na bangus that's fried was just OK. I would have appreciated it more if it's much sour.

The vegetables all tasted fresh and cooked well. I liked how crunchy and crispy the Pakbet veggies were. I can come back for this by the way.

The Binagoongan was my most favorite with its flavorful taste comes an experience of eating rice that much so yes, bye bye diet!

Kamayan sa Palaisdaan is a nice place to check out if you're in the area. You can bring your friends, family and foreigner friends here. They'll enjoy, I am sure!

People who visit Kamay Ni Hesus goes straight here so the place is always jampacked eventhough the place is quite big. Ambiance is great.. food is good too. If it gets there. Haha we were a group of 18 and ordered 3 sets of boodle fight meals (set is good for 5). We waited for like 1 and half hours. Didnt get to finish all. Nalipasan ng gutom siguro. If i ever visit Kamay ni Hesus again Id be back.128077

It was OK! Lots of choices on the menu. Food taste like you were eating in an ordinary canteen. Price was not worth it. The ambience was actually being paid - eating on floating "bahay kubo" is little bit unique.
The location is very accessible. It's along the way going to Lucban town proper. 128652 From Lucena Diversion Road, PUJ terminal is located beside Jollibee. From there, just ask the driver to drop you off at Kamay sa Palaisdaan - you can choose the new or the old setting.
That's it :)

Now, this is what I'm talking about! The all time favorite Palaisdaan in Tayabas. As far I know, they're the original. They have another branch just across the original one. My family would always go here for big gatherings because the ambiance is great and the price is right. You can dine at their balsa. We love their sisig, grilled liempo, and ginataang tilapia. The kare-kare and sinigang na hipon is pretty good too. The serving is big too and fast service considering how overwhelming their clients can be during weekends and lunch time. There's this bamboo you have to hit if you wish to add order (this is if you'll dine at the balsa). There are vendors outside selling native kakanin dishes like sapin-sapin and 'pilipit' (this pretzel like kakanin made from squash and covered with melted brown sugar). If ever you'll be at Tayabas or Lucban, you have to go to this place.

Super late post.

I always look forward to out trip going to Tayabas, Palaisdaan has always been our Family's favorite place. Tayabas is my Mom's hometown so, been here more than 20 times. Food is GREAT! Service depends on the number of guests but if you wait for 30mins I'm sure it's gonna be worth it. Very affordable, I think di sila nagtaas ng price or I don't know. Basta very cheap.

Must Try: chicken hardinera and pilipit. (Well almost everything on the menu)

What a crazy, cool resto!12815612826211088128077127880
One of my fave pics here! We stopped by I this resto after enjoying Pandin Lake... It's such a fun place to visit! Schizophrenics' dream-- Angry Bird heads, horse statues, giant sirens, Greek pillars, flags, fountains, cages, Buddhas (as pictured) and much more decorated the restaurant... You can even opt to have a boat ride in the man-made pond that kids seemed to like... There were floating bahay kubos where you can eat and enjoy the craziness of it all...
They serve traditional Filipino food, which was nothing special... I ordered pancit and halo-halo--very forgettable!128563 but then again, I could barely eat from the excitement over the place!
Expect the service to be kind of slow, so don't go here if you are dying of hunger already... Just think of it as time that can be spent taking pics of the resto...
The restroom was clean when we were there, very important when traveling!
Last note: try the taksiapo wall--- you can buy plates, cups, glasses, even a TV if you are so inclined, and throw it to the wall! Welcome your aggression! It was fun throwing plates, but I'd have loved to throw the TV (Barney from HIMYM much?!128523)...
Overall, it was loads of fun for us!128540128522128513

i know this is a seafood place and the tilapia and relleno were lipsmacking good but what will make me crave is the crispy pata. it was so sweet and so crunchy and so non greasy, i couldn't stop. i was supposed to be on diet but no, i couldn't stop. and the location was so relaxing, the weather even in summer was not scorching. after the big meal the benches in the balsa huts were singing : siesta. amazing. must. go. back. ang sarap.
