Kanin Club has a lot to offer in terms of filipino food. The ambience of the place is good. Not so much customers during our visit. We ordered some of their best sellers. Their crispy dinuguan, for the win 128077. The nilagang tadyang is good also. Same with their spicy tahong. Service is good. Might come back again and try their other items in their menu

What the hell happened Kanin Klub?

The service is pretty bad. What was placed on our table is the paper place mats, crockery and cutlery. Water was not served, i had to ask the staff to do so. And there's this chick standing in the middle with the stupid grin on her face. A wallflower, she is not assisting customers, i gues her job is to stand there until closinf time.

Im giving it two stars because the food remains good. Grams liked the Sinigang. Tita liked the laing and i hated the service.

Situated in the heart of Makati City, the Ayala Triangle Gardens, Kanin Club's a homegrown restaurant which has set itself as the "go-to" place to satisfy your cravings for authentic Filipino food. A crowd's favorite, the place is always a blockbuster hit during weekday lunch and weekend dinner. Service time is quite long, more or less 20 minutes, but the taste of the food justifies it.

Must try dishes:
1. Crispy Dinuguan. Very crispy pork liempo set in a semi-dry stew of pork blood. So good, it has convinced a non-dinuguan lover like me to try the dish. 128522

2. Crispy Pata. Deep fried pork knuckles! Need I say more? 128514 #putokbatok

3. Aligue Rice. Fried rice smothered in crab fat! And hey, it's topped with more crab fat! Hahaha. 128514 #callthenurse

4. Turon KC ala mode. Dessert time. 128525 No words to describe it. Just try it yourself. Im pretty sure you'll love it!

Attentive crew. Homey ambiance. Good food. Kanin Club's definitely a piece of heaven here on Earth. If Kuya Tonipet would ask me, my answer would be: Pop na pop na pop! :)

What i like about this restaurant is their consistency. The taste hasn't changed from the first day i tasted their dishes. They are well-known for their deconstructed dunuguan. Crispy pork cutlets stewed in pig's blood.

The star of the show is the laing. Taro leaves cooked in coconut milk. This is the best laing I've ever tasted, hence i keep coming back for more. The chef knows how to cook authentic laing, judging from the thickness of the sauce. Some say when you cook with coconut milk, you dont need to stir it - mahihilaw yung gata. I don't know how to explain this, but one would know if the gata is not cooked well, it leaves an iffy feeling on your mouth - an aftertaste of sorts. Truth be told, the laing needs a lil kick, a couple of siling labuyo to seal the deal.

The Abodo Mix is not the typical adobo. This one is cooked with atsuete (the red things found in small plastic packs, usually found beside laurel leaves). This is authentic adobo, don't be fooled, it is flavorful despite the lack of soy sauce. The chicken and pork is tender, cooked perfectly. It makes you crave for more rice, the richness of the sauce is a testament that soy sauce is optional when making delicious adobo.

Kanin Klub never disappoints, 4 stars for consistency.

There are those times when you just want to eat peacefully with good music, good food, and good ambiance together with your someone. Good thing we chose to dine at Kanin Club for our late dinner. Their store closes at 10PM and we were able to arrive at 9:30! 128514 How lucky can we get? 128514
We immediately placed our orders of Crispy Dinuguan, Crispy Liempo, Sigarilyas Express, Green Iced Tea, Sagot gulaman and of course rice. Their staff are very attentive and surprisingly, our orders were served to us in a timely manner. Not sure if it's because there were no customers that much during that time.

But anyway, their crispy liempo and crispy dinuguan are to die for! I am not a fan of sigarilyas but I was also very sarisfied with their Sigarilyas Express. It's like Bicol Express but healthier version 128522. Andro was also very happy and satisfied and loved his Sagot Gulaman. We also ordered turon ala mode for dessert - we were surprised with the serving!! Halo-halo wrapped in lumpia wrapper and topped with big scoops of mango ice cream!! Ooh lala!!

The prices are very reasonable. Super sulit! Much cheaper than other restaurants that offer Pinoy food with a twist and without sacrificing the taste. The taste is superb!

One more thing, while eating you will definitelt miss your Elementary/Highschool days' performances during Linggo ng Wika because of their music like Dalagang Pilipina. 128077128522

Had dinner last night here together with one of the sweetest guy ever. I was overwhelmed by the warm welcome of all the crews.

Our first attemt it was so full but when we went back after 30mins it was empty now. My guy is so tall like basketball player in NBA. He joke that he's a player playing for Dallas Mavericks. All of the crews were amazed.

While waiting for the food, all of them took a photos together with him. So proud of him that he really likes the warm welcome of all the people. Even the manager and chef joined us.

The food was great as usual. We ordered mango with bagoong for starter and kare-kare for thr main course and ensaladang talong.

All were good and tasty.

Our experienced last night was splendid. Amazing company and its the first time I felt the extra mile services of this restaurant.

Had dinner here with friends before watching the dancing lights show.
As usual, we ordered their crispy dinuguan and it was very good! The deep fried pork was super crunchy!
All the rest of our orders were just good.
Watched the show after and the kids had a great time!

Ordered seafood kare kare (top most left, P330) bistek (top middle, P210), tinapa rice (right side top, P165), bagoong rice (right side bottom, P165) and crispy dinuguan (big picture, P290). As the waiter told us, FIESTA! Haha. Bistek was meh, too salty and it was tough. Only thing I didn't like. Seafood kare kare was okay with squid, mussels and shrimp in kare kare sauce. Much prefer beef though. Tinapa rice was awesome, nice smoky aroma and the taste just packs flavor of the tinapa but not too overpowering. Bagoong rice was good as well but a bit too much onions for me. Crispy dinuguan was the MVP for sure! It is indeed very crispy and tastes amazing, like how real dinuguan should be.

Would I go back? Of course. This place deserves more recognition, I feel.
