I think is more like an izakaya than a restau. There's not much items on their menu, only like a couple of rice bowls, 5 kinds each of sashimi & sushi but most of it are even out of stock. There are also some korean dishes you can and a just bunch more of interesting mispelled words like "hamberjer".
We tried the salmon sashimi and it was even a bit frozen when they served it. They do have a number of grilled items but note that the yakitori's are as tiny as the ones you can buy on the side street and of course is over priced, about 100php for two tinny-winnie chicken skin; Ordered the grilled ginko nuts too and even that was unappealing and sad. As for the gyudon which they called "kyudon" btw, it was ok but it was served with fried egg on top which was just wrong for me bec I like them half cooked. It was also too peppery but it did have the right amount of beef to rice. As for our yakisoba, it was a complete disaster we just had to take it out and give-away after two bites. It had a very strong flavor of mirin and was too sour and salty at the same time. Yuck in short.
So I guess, there goes my sad jap food craving for the night. I don't see myself opting for kanpai soon though for a quiet drink with a friend, it'll do. 🙄🙄🙄

Food is great! Try their off-the-menu spicy salmon or tuna salad. One of the best i've had. Service and ambiance is excellent. Plus, prices are affordable :)
