Seafood Tepanyaki, Beek Tepanyaki, 5-piece Ebi Tempura, Miso Ramen, 4 red iced tea, unlimited rice - all for Php800.

Not bad for Japanese fast food. Apparently, not all Karate Kid branches offer unlimited rice, but this one does - definitely a plus for my male trainers.

My roommate ate here last night and heard that Yakisoba was superb! I asked her if KK serves ramen and she said yes. This morning, I kept thinking about ramen that even if I was eating my breakfast, at that very moment, I was thinking of ramen. (What has happened to me, I don't know) I waited 'til lunch to have it. Well, late lunch.

Ordered beef ramen (99php) and California maki (I think this is my new fave) (42php for 4 pcs.) California Maki came first in my table and a minute later, the only evidence you can see that I've ordered it is the plate and the wasabi. 128542 I wished I ordered the 8 pcs. (80php) instead. It was sooo bitin because it was delicious. The only thing I didn't like about is that it wasn't sticky enough that it loosened up and hard to hold together in my chopsticks when dipping it in the Kikoman soy sauce. Taste-wise, I can compare it to the California Maki I tasted in Sankai back in Davao. Such a delight 128522 but I tasted no cucumber in it this time. That's ok though.

About 3 minutes later, my ramen came. When I saw it, I thought what the server gave me was the wrong order because it has the total appearance of Bulalo 128514128514 except that there were only strips of beef instead of bones. BUT, I really enjoyed it. I even loved it 128522 I love the thought that I only got to spend 99php for the food that am craving for. Need not spend big money on expensive ramen to satisfy me. Also, this time around, I ate everything. I can't even see a single strand of noodle in my bowl! :) It was good. Really, really good. 128076128077128077128074 128522128522128522

For the price you pay for, you get OK tasting food. The place is understaffed so the service suffers. It takes more than two reminders for an extra helping of rice or iced tea. Quality is inconsistent. Comparable to an affordable version of Tokyo Tokyo.

The spam musubi tasted kinda undercooked today... Unlimited iced tea never got past the first glass during my 30 minute stay. No one passed by my table to check, the woman at the counter was chatting through the window behind her and laughing while ignoring everything else, although I was one of the only two customers here. Must have been a shift change or something ;) Other than that, it could've been a decent value and a better star rating. Especially if the spam was fully cooked. I do enjoy the experience at other branches a bit more but this particular location is practically abandoned.

This is like Tokyo Tokyo but cheaper and more sulit. We ordered Beef Teppanyaki meal for 2 (rice and drinks are unlimited). The beef is leaner compared to Tokyo Tokyo's. The serving of beef was not enough for 2 people especially when both are going for another round of rice.
We also ordered their Spicy Squid Teppanyaki (no picture) which is just squid tempura with sweet & spicy sauce.

Highly recommended sa mga taong malaki ang gutom. Otherwise find some other resto/fastfood.

Craving for Japanese but no moolah? Well fear not Karate Kid is here ;)) It's been here for some time and yes the quality has changed since they started. But beggars can't be choosers when I'm on a budget and craving for sodium I go for their Tofu Steak. A melange of tofu, a teaspoon of ground pork and shiitake mushrooms all covered in a savory sweet sauce :) all this for 99 bucks hoorah!!
