I ordered Tomy chops DOUBLE (405php) not knowing it would be big as my face (exagge thou) 128514 .. But yeah it is really big, it almost out of the plate when they served. It comes with Mashed Potato that is also the best! It really match with their juicy meat.

On the other hand my boyfriend wants to try their RIBEYE STEAK however that time, it is not available so he tried WAGYU (315php) (medium rare) it is really good. His reaction is this 128514. Indeed! it makes him teary because of he satisfied his craving plus his love for meat makes him feels like he is drunk! Plus we ordered their chicken garlic parmesan it is legit! This place is the best!

My boyfriend already recommend this to our colleagues and we are set to go back.

➡ Price 1108811088110881108811088 250-600 is already good for 2. You having Staek for 315 pesos is already a Great deal

➡ Place 110881108811088 11088 small place thou there are tables outside.

➡ Taste 1108811088110881108811088 MUST TRY!

Holidays are for food trips to locations normally hard to get to - for yesterday's holiday, we decided to head to Karnevore by Marikina.

Location wise, it's known across commuters. If you're driving, there are a few slots around the place since they're on the corner.

We actually got there 130pm thinking it would be empty since it's an off time - we got there and found ourselves a table, and maybe 10mins later, the place is actually full!

There were 4 of us - we ordered nachos and the sisig on mantou bread for the appetizer and decided to split 3 mains. Pictured is the pork belly. No more pics of the Angus ribeye and the double chops since we were hungry as heck. Serving size was pretty good, each entrée similar in size to the pork belly in the picture.

Pork belly was tender and basted with barbeque sauce. Wasn't bad at all! While the pork chops were pretty tough (the cuts were thick) but flavor wise they were ok! The ribeye was also nicely seasoned though our medium well ended up towards medium - it was still good and juicy!

Total bill for us 4 was Php1720. Not bad considering the size of the servings and the taste! Downside would be the smoke from the grill, and the noise from the traffic outside. Considering it was a holiday so traffic was significantly less! Worth another visit if you're coming back from Marikina. 128055

The Ribeye steak was good for its price. The porkchop was kinda hard but the gravy tasted good w it. Hmm, their wings were okay. Will try another dish next time 128522

We have been meaning to try this restaurant that hubby's high school batchmates put up so we decided to have early dinner here. It was breezy that night so we figured we would be ok with the al fresco set up.

On the table
🔹Karnevore Ribeye Steak (regular) w/ Mashed Potatoes - The steak was juicy and the Bourbon Butter added richness to the meat. Not a fan of bourbon though and the herby seasoning they used for the steak. Mashed Potatoes had chunks of potatoes and were tasty. We loved how the carrots and beans were sliced so thinly and seasoned well.
🔹Bacon Wrapped Hungarian w/ Jalapeño Sauce - The sausage was good and the jalapeño sauce was manageable. The bread became soggy though during the course of the meal. Not sure what the side dish was but it was good.
🔹Poutine - I knew we'd love this the moment I read the description. I couldn't stop munching on these fries with cheesy gravy. The chunks of BACON were a delightful surprise which made me love this even more (the bacon wasn't in the menu description)
🔹 Karnevore Yakitori Platter - Each platter consisted of 5 sticks which you can mix and match. We got the Pork, Chicken, Chicken Skin and Chicken Tail. The meat could use a little more flavor although the slightly sweet sauce makes up for it. I wasn't going to try the Chicken Skin And Chicken Tail but hubby insisted since he liked them. Sorry but these just aren't for me.

Dishes were nicely plated although that of the Poutine could still be improved on. I couldn't get a great shot of those yummy fries.

I'm definitely coming back for the Poutine and I would like to sample the other food but it would depend on the weather.
