1 AM, too much to drink indeed. My friend takes me to this hole in the wall. We ordered the special called buto buto which is ribs nilaga style and rice. Also tried their batchoy which was nothing great! The buto buto was very good. With Patis and chili! Awesome cheap eats!

While everyone is going crazy ordering the buto buto which is the best seller, I opted to try the Batchoy because they said it's good too. This is for people who have tried the original la paz batchoy from Iloilo. This is the place. 128522

Area maybe hard to find but it adds to the ambiance because it is served in situated areas and not in classy restaurant 128522 Price was just right and everything is worth it.

Another hole in the wall where you can dine with friends after a long days work or after a drinking session.

The food recommended to me by my sister was "Buto-Buto" which is basically a nilaga style cooked bone with meat and litid still attached to it. The price was 85pesos w/rice already which I thought was fair enough given the serving size.

My friends ordered the La Paz batchoy which I also tasted. It thought it lacked taste and needed more seasoning.

Overall experience was okay. 3/5.

No matter what time of day and what mood you're in, Kate and Kurt's La Paz Batchoy is pen to serve you and fill your cravings.

My fave here is their Buto-Buto, steaming hot soup with pork spareribs.. Perfect for the cooler weather we're experiencing. Their Batchoy is authentic not to forget their crunchy Lechon Kawali.

You'll be amazed that their customers are pretty diverse, from the people who just came from their night out, some are from around the area. Don't be surprised if there are times that the side street is filled with cars despite the Aysee's feel to it.

The best Buto-Buto ever..

This is for people who have been to iloilo and have tried the original la paz batchoy. Every ilonggo who goes to manila looks for the best batchoy place..trust me this is the place. Area maybe sketchy but it adds to the ambiance because batchoy was made to be served in shady areas and not in classy restos. Price was just right and everything is so worth it. Remember the saying: if u want good chinese food eat at a good chinese resto...if u go to this place u know its good because almost everyone who eats here are ilonggos!
