Dine here last week, their katsu was just ok. The breading seems a bit undercook on the inside but that aint the issue.

4 of us dine here, 2 of us have lbm the following day. And as for me i have the worst one for this year 128534128545128544 literally worst, had to stay at home the following day. I reckon its some of the greens on the salad bar. Might not be washed properly. Definitely not coming back anytime soon. -this is for their glorietta branch.

Always been a fan of this Japanese Cuisine, Katsu Sora! 🇯🇵127857

This time my family and I had dinner here last Saturday at 2F New Wing Promenade Greenhills. We've been to Katsu Sora Eastwood branch so many times.

It's Mama Elaine P first time here and she loves Japanese cuisine,

Had 5 sets of Sakura Tonkastu set and only cost 350 pesos. It comes up with unli miso soup, salad and fresh fruits. The Tonkatsu is so crispy and heavy to the stomach, loved their Katsu! The serving is almost good for 2 people

Staffs are accommodating , 1280761108811088110881108811088

Ordered Sakura Miso Katsu set (Php365) worth it meal. It includes unlimited salad, soup and rice. Then served with 120g of katsu. Not bad for the price.

The acoustics of this place was bad. The noisy bounces off the wall and you can hear every chuckle and voices of the people eating in the resto.

Oh! Love the vegies, miso buffet! Really yummy! The katsu was ok. And the fruits- watermelon and honeydew were really really sweet. Super worth it!

Proof that I don't have a discerning palate...128513

We found ourselves at GH weeks ago... We wanted to try something different and we have never tried Katsu Sora... Well, because we figured katsu is katsu and we have already been to the usual suspects...

Anyway, it was a typical Japanese restautant, clean and pleasant. They have a salad bar (which also includes fruits), 2 different kinds of rice, and miso soup... They do have more choices for salad dressing than other similarly themed restaurants...

I ordered the otameshi set, which had 4 kinds of pork katsu... I got to try the Iberico, Sakura, Shimofuri and Kurobota variants. I liked the Iberico best but bf and I couldn't really distinguish between the different kinds of pork... We both liked his order of katsudon, which had a nice presentation... Katsu is katsu, but it is always a good idea though!128077 Servers were also very attentive! 128516

Concept is almost the same with other japanese katsu store that opened in manila which offers unli sides except for the meat but they do not only offer unli cabbages but they have a buffet bar of salads and fruits, 2 kinds of rice, 4 types of rice seasonings and 8 kinds of dressings to choose from (apart from the one on the table which is the usual sesame dressing).

What we tried are the sakura pork miso katsu, sakura pork mille feuille (layered meat) cheese & ohma (japanese basil), ebi katsu and the regular sakura pork.

I enjoyed the salad bar, mostly because of the delicious potato salad, pumpkin salad and broccoli which I put wasabi mayo as dressing.

I liked the mille feuille, the combination of basil, cheese and layered meat was perfect and tender especially when u mixed it with the worcestershire sauce with grinded sesame seeds. The miso katsu was ok but I think if I ate too much of it I'll get sated/"umay". While for the ebi katsu, I think it was coated too much of breadcrumbs.

The service tea was not very strong for both the hot and cold version. You can't taste much of the tea-ness in it. Service was quick.

The sakura pork is "okay". A bit tough and flavourless.
Order the more expensive cut with better marbling 128517

I go here not so much for the katsu, but for the unlimited potato salad. The pork is just a bonus 128513

First time to try Katsu Sora. We ordered 2 different katsu sets (Chicken / Sakura Pork) Each set comes with unlimited japanese rice, miso soup and salad.

🔺 Chicken w/ Cheese & Ohba Katsu Set (P350) : So-so. I was excited to try this one cause Chicken + Jap Basil & Cheese sounds like a perfect match. But I was a bit sad when I took my first bite because the chicken (and cheese) were bland. Di ko na-feel yung cheese. It made my katsu creamy, yes... but it didn't add any flavor.

🔺 Cheese & Ohba Mille Feuille Set - Sakura Pork (P365) : It was just okay. Wasn't able to finish this because the breading's too oily, umay!

🔺 Layu Sauce (P20) : My katsu craving won't be complete without Layu! Glad they have it.

Katsu, nothing special. (or maybe I just ordered the wrong katsu set, I should have ordered their famous Kurobuta or Iberico Tonkatsu Set) but their "buffet type" salad bar, I love! It was clean, veggies were fresh and they have a wide selection of unique salad dressings too! I enjoyed it so much I had to go back 3-4 times to try different dressings (and to get more potato salad!) 128514

Plus points for the Great Service, Nice Ambiance and Attentive Staff. My Katsu Sora experience was okay. Sulit because of the salad bar and unli rice & soup but I won't come back anytime soon cause I didn't crave for anything.

Just had dinner here. What makes Katsu Sora different from all the other katsu places is their salad bar. They have potato salad, shredded cabbage, sliced watermelons and pineapples for dessert, and other great salads to choose from. You don't have to pay for it because it is already included when you order a katsu meal. Two thumbs up for Katsu Sora 128077128522

I prefer dining here than Yabu because its cheaper. They serve good food that you won't notice the difference from other katsu restaurants. What separates them from the others is their buffet table. The only downside of this place is the branch is quite small. It already looks crowded on a few customers.

Tried Katsu Sora last night and thought the food was good. I ordered the marinated fried chicken katsu with curry. The dish came with refillable soup, salad, fruits, and rice. The curry had bits of carrots and cubed chicken, but can be spicier though. There's a salad bar on the side where you can make your own cup of salad whether you want cabbage, romaine, etc. There were lots of dressing options too. For dessert, there's an option of orange, watermelon, or mixed fruits.

My new favorite katsu place just because of their salad buffet!

The katsu and ebi furai tastes exactly like the top katsu places in town. Perfectly fried, marbled, and flavourful. Gotta love katsu thats not oily. Imho The katsu sauce is too sweet - but their layou balances it out.

Its great that they have a salad buffet beciause it lets me have all the potato salad i want!

Service was so-so. Not slow, but nothing to write home about.

What I really liked about most Japanese meal sets are the unlimited servings of rice, salad and hot tea! As for my first ever order in this restaurant, I got the Sakura Miso Katsu Set.

first of I really liked their interior .. loved the light bulbs they have , where you can see the fiber inside 128513 (not sure if that's what you call it ) anyways lets get to the food 128513 i like that even though its another katsu place they're different from the rest. They have a buffet style going on ;) they have a salad bar which gives you a lot of varieties not just the stripped cabbage, and they're also very fresh you can hear the crunch of the lettuce as you bite into them.. the dressings are pretty different too can't remember their names though but i wasn't familiar with them 128518

Now going to their katsu! i love their panco breading!128077 ofcorse i went for their curry set 128523 (just a weakness i guess) it was mild not too spicy pa 128518 sauce was thick with some bits of chicken i think carroys and potato the usual .. basta i just wanted to take home their sauce .. 128525

Kinda pricey i think. 375 for a sakura katsudon set.

This comes with unli soup, dessert, salad and hot tea!

Well it was very filling for sure and the presentation was great! For me, I would choose to go some place else for my katsu fix.
