Congressional Avenue is absolutely teeming with new restaurants and food hubs. I enjoyed Box Park when it opened last year, loving the feel of the place and the festive atmosphere. Now, there are just too many places to choose from. Food parks are actually opening right next to each other... But I am glad when my friends and I ended up in Happy Tables one weeknight.

It's a food court, similar in concept with Box Park; but I prefer Happy Tables because of the A/C and the roof over our heads... Makes it okay to dine here despite the fickle weather we have been having. It still has an informal dining set-up with lots of seating available, up to the second floor. They also have a comfort room; I mention this because I'm unsure if Box Park has one, TBH.

We tried several stalls, including the Japanese themed Katsuro. We shared 3 kinds of rolls including their California roll... Unfortunately, I don't remember the names of the other rolls that we ordered, but I honestly liked all of them! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. The staff were quick to suggest which ones are good; trust their suggestions as we did! The food was enjoyable and great for sharing. Pricing is fair...

P.S.
I use Box Park for comparison because it was the first food park to open in the area... 128522
