Minus two because of the irritatingly slow service.

Service water you have to ask waiter 4 times.

Bill took more than 5 minutes.

The food was upto par with other korean restos.

Ambiance it's a house turned into a resto.

For me and my family, Kaya is the best korean resto in Manila. I have yet to find a dolsot bibimbap that tastes better than what they have.

We order the following regularly:

Dolsot bibimbap
Dak bulgogi (chicken)
Short ribs
Kimchi chige (soup) paired with beef bulgogi (perfect match, with rice)
Bacon that we wrap in lettuce
Squid in garlic

Valentine dinner. All restos were packed. Good thing this wasn't.

So the degustation begins. We had the usual... Shrimp tempura (sewu twigim 200); tuna sashimi (chamchi hwe 190); spicy bean curd, beef and veggies soup (dooboo chige 180). And the star dish for the night, Kalbi Jim (240)! Super tender and tasty korean beef rib stew.. It was so good, i forgot to take a picture of it! 128540128525
It was a very satisfying dinner. Food were fresh and yummy. Real value for money! 128077

To the kind man who took me out for valentines, thank you! 128538 LOL..

from banchan' to bibimpap' to grilled mackerel and bulgogi something was missing on each plate! Not truly bad but not far from great or memorable!!

Appetizers come aplenty (and gratis).
Dak Bulgogi is good - tender, sweet, and smoky.
Bibimbap and (beef) Bulgogi were just ok, I've had better elsewhere.
Complimentary pineapple chunks for dessert.

I love Korean food! And I love the fact that they're very generous when it comes to their starters. 128522 After loading up on Kimchi and the other vegetable appetizers, on to the main course!

Their Chapche was sweet, and the texture was just how it should be - slippery. Haha! Their Dak Bulgogi was juicy and spicy. And the Kalbi Gui was savory - either wrapped in lettuce or eaten with rice, dipping it in that oil with salt and pepper... Mmm... Ang sarap lang! 128525 They even gave us pineapple slices for dessert! 128077

First time here and I'm a bit underwhelmed. Maybe because I already experienced eating more authenic Korean grub at Min Sok and other home-based restaurants in the vicinity. But the food is still good nonetheless...

Still the best branch of Kaya out there, the mall versions cannot even compare. Granted it's more pricey than the ones inside the malls, but the quality and serving size is still better at their Jupiter branch. Plus, no need to pay for every kimchi appetizer since it comes with the meal (and they arrive aplenty) 128077

This restaurant is way different from all other Kaya restaurants. There are fire grills for each table. Service is superb. Staffs are very quick and friendly. You should try out their kalbi gui and soondooboo chigae - my all time favorites! After every meal, they serve you complimentary fruits and ginger cinnamon tea. This branch is definitely worth visiting. I can't wait to go back!
