Yup, the other reviewers were right about how the prices here aren't student-friendly. 128557

Got their tuna sashimi, California maki and yakisoba. The sashimi was the best for me, I mean I expected it to be good since it was 300 pesos for 4-5 pieces??? 128514

I'll only come back here if I'll have my parents with me to pay for the bill. LOL. The place is really nice though but a little loud since they're renovating the building they're in.

Conclusion: pampamilyang presyo na masarap sana kainan with friends kaso hindi kasi pampamilyang presyo nga

New Maginhawa restaurant alert!!! Authentic Japanese food but a bit pricey for students on budget 128540 I forgot the name of the sushi roll in the photo but it costs 400php. I'd say it's worth the price since the salmon & uni used really tasted fresh.

Very friendly staff, and decent parking. When we were there it was a bit smokey and irritated the eyes. We enjoyed the food though! We ordered Yakisoba, a Crazy Roll, and a Melon Shake. The Yakisoba was large enough for two to share. Will definitely come back soon!

This newly opened restaurant in Maginhawa is now my favorite go to place. Owner and waitstaff are very friendly, polite and swift to provide what is needed. Their food is delish and prices are affordable. The place is so Japanese-y as well. Happy tummy indeed 9786128076🏼

Kazoku was one of our food stops during our Maginhawa crawl.

The place was relatively new and the dishes were just average in my opinion. We got the safer options as these were the bulk of our appetite: Chicken Teriyaki, Gyoza, Spicy Tuna Salad and Gyuniku Okonomiyaki.

I personally loved the okonomiyaki among all the others because of the bonito flakes and the richness of the Japanese pizza. The rest were average and can somehow be compared to Omakase's.

Overall, OK as a Japanese option for decent meals for those running along Maginhawa. 128076 Plus side is the ambiance, you'll get a feel of eating inside a traditional Japanese house. 128513🇯🇵

Salmon Onigiri was just okay. There were only a few pieces of salmon in the rice roll which were a bit dry. 128532

We ordered 3 things:
1. Spicy Maguro Salad
2. Chicken Katsu Curry
3. Katsudon

Spicy Maguro Salad
- the vegetable was thinly sliced for perfection. Once the tuna hit my mouth, it melted perfectly. The crunch, spice level and the temperature of the salad was perfect. I actually got full already when the salad first arrived. It was quite heavy because of the creaminess of the "dressing"

Chicken Katsu Curry
- if you are not super hungry and ordered this, you might want to share half of it. The spice level was okay. If you like it spicy (like me!) you can add the red flakes found at the condiments area. The chicken was tender and not dry.

Katsudon
- well my partner said that it was good but the katsu was a bit dry. But considering the serving size and it has miso soup, it was all good.

All in all, I HAD A GREAT TIME. They have a variety of food to choose from. And the price was reasonable as well.

An added bonus: it is owned by a Japanese Chef. Forgot to ask his name. He also speaks a bit of tagalog. And he was very hands on on every order that was taken.

Food was okay. Nothing special.

I ate the tempura and fried rice. The prawns were bug and juicy but has an "old oil" after taste that i didnt care for.
