Tried their Oyakodon and was not really impressed by it. I was expecting it to be a rice bowl but the chicken and egg mix was separated. Don't know why they did that. The flavor really was just okay. It was a little bland. And for its price, not that sulit. It was about P200+ though it can be good for sharing. But then again, I've tasted better oyakodons that are cheaper than this. Better stick with the other dishes here and pass on this one up.

We ate here... like a month ago, I think? I honestly cannot remember the food. So I guess it's safe to say it's not very memorable? I don't think I disliked it since I think I'd remember. But not good enough to leave a great impression.

I wanted to give this place another shot after rating them 3 stars the first time but now I think i'm really crossing them off my list. I tried their Mabo Tofu Ramen which tasted more like ulam. Felt like I was eating chopsuey or tausi and in the middle of eating I actually felt like I wanted rice. Should have stuck to the average Spicy Negi Ramen. Service is okay but food quality is just ❌. Ramen Kuroda is a better option.

That day the aircon was busted so they transferred the tables and chairs outside. Going into the restaurant made me ask the server if they got robbed. I have this love-hate relationship with this restaurant. The reason we eat here because it is a co-worker's favorite and easy Japanese food joint. It is near the office and not so bad really but the food is a hit or a miss.

What I do love is the Agedashi tofu and white rice combo. Though technically not a legit combo offered by the resto, these two are my favorite dishes (Yes, rice included!!). I was craving for ramen, too, so I decided to split an order of Chasu Miso Ramen with my colleague. Their ramen is disappointing to me. Even if this was a small serving already since we had it split in two, I couldn't finish it. Very glad that that Agedashi tofu is filling and tasty. Their sauce is great to bathe the tofu in and it's perfect enough that it doesn't crumble right away when you take a bite, the firmness is spot on!

This is actually in Solenad 3, Nuvali. I will make this short. I first tried this Ramen House in Alabang Town Center, for me and my hubby the ramen was too curry-flavor. It was okay but its not in our favorite list of ramen-go-to. Earlier we were craving for a hot bowl but in Solenad 3 either you go to Kenji tei or the Hokkaido which I really dont like. We settled in and ordered miso ramen, spicy negi ramen, spicy tuna sashimi and cheese gyoza. We saw our ramen ready on the counter but no one seems to realize it only us the hungry duo. The waiters were joking around in one corner 4 of them and no one seems to notice our ramen sitting on the counter....hmmm 128530 so we got them but unfortunately it made us make a pact to not come back even how much we crave for ramen and Kenji Tei is the only one around 128524 the soup was bland, the spicy tuna is not spicy at all. Php1,541.571....sayang 128563

It was a mutual decision by my bf and I to rate this 3 stars. Waiters were accommodating and attentive and the food arrived pretty fast considering it was a Friday night and the place was pretty packed. Though in terms of ramen quality, this place would make it to my bottom three list. If you've tried really good ramen places in the metro (with Nagi on the list), this would be pretty disappointing.

We ordered Chashu Ramen (left on the photo) and Spicy Negi Ramen for me (right). The broth was too thin and not rich in flavor. The spicy negi ramen was not even that spicy. I would describe its spiciness as a chili powder aftertaste that could be easily extinguished with a little water. And since I like my ramen legit spicy, I wasn't satisfied. 128542 But then I guess for Php285 for a regular bowl, it was okay. The gyoza also tasted like it was reheated, not freshly steamed.

Overall, just your typical "okay" ramen place.

The place looked like a typical ramen (or should I say Japanese) place with its washed wood-colored tables and black interior highlights. It's actually a good venue for a catch up with friends cos it's not that noisy despite the tables being close to each other and having a lot of customers inside.

My friend and I shared a plate of salmon sashimi and a large bowl of chashu miso ramen. The salmon sashimi tasted fresh and delicious. They were a bit generous with their serving cos the 8pc sashimi came in not-so thin slices. For the ramen, we wanted to get miso ramen, so we went with the chashu miso ramen than the regular miso ramen. Both are priced just the same but chashu has more toppings on it. When our order came, it looked and tasted normal and the toppings were just ground pork. The chashu that went with it and was mostly lean meat and tasted just right.

We were just about to finish our meal when my friend noticed a little cockroach on our table. We called the server and he just removed the cockroach. He didn't even wiped the area where he got the insect.

It was a rainy night and We were stuck in Makati whiling away time and traffic. We were looking for something warm and comforting for the tummy. Decided to try Kenji Tei and we were pleasantly surprised! Generous portions at reasonable prices. What's not to like!

My friend and I split their Large Miso Ramen to share and it was decent. Lighter flavor than the other main ramen places. Their gyoza is good too. Too bad we weren't super hungry otherwise it would be nice to try other things. We saw the other tables' food and it seemed really yummy.

Service was fast and despite the wait we were seated promptly.

The best part! We paid Php599 for these two dishes. I will be back!

I'm sorry but I'm not a fan of Kenji Tei 128542 Their ramen didn't have that oomph flavour and I didn't like their tempura batter as well.

It's been a long time since I last dined here, and lucky for me they allowed me in at almost closing time - it was past 10:15 on a Friday night.

There were only a couple more groups of diners, and the crew were obviously starting to close shop, so it was a bit noisy. It was distracting at times to hear the banter among the service crew, but hey, they were working later than I was so they could use a break.

Despite that, I love coming back here for the food. I ordered my usual salmon sashimi and my fave Ebi Mango Mayonnaise. The salmon is as good as ever but in smaller cuts than I remembered. The shrimp in Ebi Mango are really plump, but a tad dry. Dalandan juice is fresh (I opted to change it from the shake in the menu) so that's a plus.

And in fairness to the crew they did not hurry me out (though they gave me my bill early to close up the register). That's why I like it here when i get the craving.

For last thursday's visit, we ordered a regular miso butter corn ramen and thick slices of spicy tuna sashimi! Both were delicious.

It needs Better food. The food has been deteriorating. Well, i didn't order my usual, i got a yaki soba and spicy maguro maki. Both were disappointing. I eat here a lot and we decided to get something good and fast, turns out to be disappointing. 128547 my colleague also noticed that the noodles of his ramen were soggier than usual. My spicy tuna didn't have kick to it. I ended up eating the ginger to refresh my palate.

Not going back there for a while, a really long while. Pleh. Terrible dinner. Doesn't merit a photo, too.

I am a ramen girl by heart and so finding this ramen place in Greenbelt got me excited. Though I must say their ramen menu has the usual chasu, shoyu, etc., their curry ramen got me curious. So I ordered the regular sized ramen at Php265. They also have a large size serving but since I am dining alone I opted for the regular sized bowl. To my surprise, serving can still be split to two persons. Pretty affordable if 2 persons will share a bowl.

Curry ramen's nice. Not too salty, just right. I love how soft they cooked the vegetables, melts in my mouth. I'd recommend this if you love curry and ramen. Hahaha!

In addition, they have good service. Very fast and there's always someone available to assist you. I took note of this since I dined on a busy Sunday afternoon.

All in all, I'd go back to this ramen place to try their other dishes.

The place looks exquisite but service is good and ramen is great. 128076🏻

It was another ramen experience and it turned out to be a good choice anyway. :-)

Most of the time i'm in Glorietta or Greenbelt so its easier for me to check out new places to eat. This time i'm with my sisters, and we'd like to try Kenji's Ramen.

There are wide range of choices in their menu. We tried their Shoyu Ramen, you can choice between their regular size and large size for sharing. It costs around Php 245-325 ++ and my sister would like to get Tonkatsu breaded pork cutlet with sesame sauce, it comes with shredded cabbage as well, it costs php 250++

The verdict:

I am happy with the Shoyu ramen, ordinary taste but big enough for sharing. Cheaper than order ramen resto. For the Tonkatsu, nothing is special. The pork cutlet was fairly good but yabu is still my choice for tonkatsu. Sorry! :-)

Overall: our experience was okay. Budget is around Php 300 per head, a good place located at Greenbelt. 128516128077

You'll never go wrong with Kenji Tei. If you like ramen with clear and simple broth try Gomoku Chashu Ramen it has lots of squid, chashu and tamago 128076🏼 As you can see also in the picture their salmon sashimi looks soo fresh and divine lol! Its one of the best salmon sashimi ive ever had. Another bestseller and really a must try is their Crispy (or crunchy) California Maki with breadings and a semi spicy kani salad with lots of fish roe and kewpie mayo on top 128077🏼128077🏼128077🏼128149
