PS. The photos I used here are the same ones I used in my separate review for Canto and Rancho Norte.

My mom was the one who insisted that we try Ketchup Food Community (imagine that) because she said its been one of the must-eat places when you’re in Baguio, and so we did. So the researcher in me immediately checked in here for some reviews and I’ve read some pretty good ones so I was a bit thrilled to eat here.
One review said that Ketch was like Maginhawa of Baguio, and it was true. There were different restaurants and you can do a cross-order from the one restaurant to another, as long as they don’t offer that food/item in their menu and majority of your orders come the place you’re dining at. It was pretty cool. With my family having different food cravings that time, it saved us time to argue which resto were gonna eat at. We dined at “Canto Bogchi Joint” (separate review available) because I was craving for a burger and my dad just cross ordered at Rancho Norte (separate review).

So, overall, the place is not as big as Maginhawa, The Yard or any other joints in Manila. It was small, with about 5ish restaurants inside, but the place gets jam-packed all the time. We went here twice, because of the variety of the food that we can choose from. Both experiences were good! For the prices, they are not as expensive as in Manila’s too. The staff were all nice, specially when you’re doing a cross order. There was an instance that my dad ordered the Strawberry juice from Canto while we were dining in Rancho Norte because we liked it so much but we didn’t know that RN also offers Strawberry Slush. As what I’ve mentioned earlier, it shouldn’t be allowed but they (Canto staff) still made us some and just informed us to order there (Rancho Norte) next time.

With the cross order thing, you don’t have to go to the other restaurant to pay for your order because you can just pay to the restaurant where you’re dining at and they’ll be the ones to add the amount for you. Just go to the restaurant you wanna cross order at, order the food and go the other restaurant where you’ll dine and order the rest of the food there!

If you're in Baguio, definitely give this a try and lemme know what you think! :)

I posted my friend's meal because it was better than my longganisa hehe The Bagnet topping is tasty and crunchy. It maybe the reason why majority of the diners orders anything that has Bagnet.

One less star because as one of the go to places to dine and chill, they need to expand. It has a potential to be a good place to eat and an inuman place at night or even on daytime and just allot an area for diners with kids. Also, theres a lot of flies around, they must do something to get rid of it.

A must go to lunch place in Session Road: Canto @ The Ketchup Community! Located just across the Botanical Garden in The Wright Park, go here and have a taste of their Baby Back Ribs, perfect after your mid-day stroll from the area. The food is served big and affordable! In the picture is their baby back ribs good for 2-3 persons, with choice of side dish for only 300+! Place may be crowded during Lunch Time so come before 12 as there could be a flock of line outside. #loolooexplorerpackgiveaway

After checking all the restaurants in Baguio we decided to have lunch here last Sunday..
I already knew what I was going to order and it was the Canto Burger. But their place was full so we went to Rancho Norte instead and ordered the Crispy Sisig and I kinda liked it. It was crunchy and juicy and price was just below P200.
Turns out you can do cross order so I decided to order the Canto Burger (P160) and man it was good!
Located just across Wright Park, it's a nice place to enjoy affordable but delicious food :)

THUMBS UP!!

almost perfect 128525 the food, ambiance, preparation, a WHOLE SLAB of lomo ribs just for P400 for 3pax 128556128076🏼✔️128525128523 and a crunchy sisig BAGNET (tipak tipak na sisig) that melts on your tongue .... hmmmmm yum.yum.yum

The community composed of 5 different specialty restaurants (canto, rancho norte, happy tummy, rumah sate, green pepper) the best of this, you can order from any of the restaurants, they will deliver the food where you chose to be seated. (like we did we chose to be seated in rancho norte were there is bagnet sisig then we order lomo ribs from canto) 978697869786

The fifth installment to the "must try" restos in Baguio, and this one is my favorite. 128522

This small community is located just across Wright Park. We arrived there an hour after noon, and still there were quite a number of people there.
In this community, there were five restos all in all. There's Thai food, an organic resto, an all Filipino menu resto (El Rancho, I think), the Happy tummy and then there's Canto.

So we checked the menu of all these restos and we chose Canto, since there were more people eating there (and that means, food is better on that side).
We ordered the Lomo Ribs (their best seller) with mashed potatoes and salad on the side, nachos, and chili fries.
The serving size of all these can be shared by 3-4 people.
And I can't help but fall in love with the Ribs! 10084
It's like the ribs that I have tasted from Miguel and Maria. Just the right amount of sweetness to tease your tongue to take another bite until your get its bones 128523 The meat is so tender and you can easily chop it off its bones using your fork without much force. It's only cooked when ordered so that's an assurance that you get fresh meat everytime. 128522
The mashed potatoes are okay, and the salad is fresh and sweet because of the bits of watermelon in the mixture.

The nachos with the beef on it is just heavenly. Though, the nacho chips were a bit brittle to hold its toppings of cheese, green peppers and beef.
The chili fries is one I can't forget. The mixture of the beef, chili greens and cheese complimented my taste buds, and made me want more.
The price of the lomo ribs is at Php 200.The chili fries is at Php 95, and the nachos is at, I think at Php 110-150 (Can't remember its price, only the taste! Hahaha).

I guess this should be on top of your food-to-go list when you plan a trip to the Pines City. It certainly will make a good first impression of what Baguio can offer you and more 128522

This is Rancho Norte's Crispy sisig meal (P158). Comes with red tea or black gulaman. Nothing spectacular 128533 and it was kinda bland. Plus points for the generous serving of tomatoes and onions.

For our lunch (2nd stop), we went here at Ketchup Community. I've read good reviews about the place so I really made sure we try this place out. Upon arriving at the place, there were a lot of people lining up already at Canto. Good thing, there were still space at Happy Tummy and we can "cross-order" (not sure with the term 128586). We ordered food from Happy Tummy and Canto (we wanted to try Rancho but we were still full from breakfast 128557)

Canto:
Since we only want to try their baby back ribs, we ordered just the half slab with mashed potato and an extra order of their cascade salad. Half slab was 190 pesos and extra order of salad was 85 pesos. Super mura and sulit!!!! 128588

Orders arrived after 25 minutes. And wow, the ribs was really good! Super tender and tasty! Can't really say much basta it was really really good! 128076 The salad was very refreshing with fresh watermelon and bits of peanut brittle. Salads here in Baguio are super mura and yummy! 128525128077

Happy Tummy:
We ordered Pad Thai, Fried Fish Fillet with Tamarind Sauce and Bagoong Rice. Service was fast and excellent. Servers were very accomodating and friendly and they were funny, too! Very! They made our lunch entertaining and fun! 128513128077

All 3 dishes were good with generous serving sizes! Our favorite was their fried fish fillet with tamarind sauce. The fillet was very thin (you'd think it's all flour and breading) but surprisingly, it's not! It was really tasty and goooood even without the sauce! 9786️ Pad Thai was okay with generous serving of tofu and prawns. I just think it lacked the citrusy taste. The bagoong rice was not too maalat which is why I enjoyed eating it 128077

When in Baguio, please go here! Order ribs at canto and the fish here in Happy Tummy! 128521128076

visited ketchup community for the second time and still we were unable to get seats at Canto. i was not in the mood to wait and i know we can cross order.

We opted to try rumah sate and we got mie goreng, laksa and chicken sate. laksa was good. the veggies were crisp. the soup was just a bit spicy to accommodate the pinoy taste. the good review ended there. the sate was so so. it was served cold. the mie goreng was just okay. too much msg i guess.

the ugly part of the experience was the service. just 2 servers. very slow. we did follow up for a lot of things. even the water glasses were given after 5 min the water pitcher was given. we had to do 2 follow ups for that. a few customers left.

bad day for them indeed.

If you're in Baguio, this food community is really a must-try. Not only because there's a lot of food choices in one place but you can also cross order through other restaurants inside the community. It's just sad that the famous Canto is the only resto that do not allow this scheme. So if you want to jump into the hype, you have fall in line. And it also sucks that they don't give you numbers or get your name so you could just comeback when it's your turn already. No. You literally have to stand there and wait in vain. 128530

Well, I wouldn't die if I don't get to taste the famous ribs so I went to this restaurant called Rumah Sate. I can't get enough of their Laksa 128557 and it's not even what I ordered 128514 anyway, I got this chicken satay with yellow sauce (no it's not cheese) - it was okay but all the foods my cousins had were delicious!

"When In Baguio" foodventure continues as we invaded one of the most acclaimed (and jampacked) food places in Baguio, that is Canto - part of the Ketchup Food Community. They're best known for their affordable yet savory ribs; and that's the main reason why we queued here in the first place.

There are lots of people having lunch here so we waited like about an hour before we actually had our seats. We got 4 whole slab of ribs, Nachos salad and some thirst-quenchers like the Rootbeer float and Almond gulaman for Zia M and me.

The ribs were good although it was a bit dry and somehow lacked some kick or flavor. But then, we managed to finish all of 'em! Like yes, #KainKargador by Zia and #ChubbyPeroHappy by JP G - relevant hashtags used that moment. I actually find it affordable though - for 399 bucks, you'll get a whole slab of ribs and partnered with the salad. I find the salad good, as well as the nachos salad that Chichi T tried. We're lucky enough that we made it to the last batch of the ribs before they ran out of stock 2-3 tables after us.

I haven't tried RUB ribs yet, but was mentioned a lotta times that it was better. So I guess I should find out myself!
