To celebrate the fact that my grades were pretty good this sem I decided to treat Gela and Abby for dinner.

We had Seafood Tom Yum, Basil Garlic Chicken and Garlic Fried Rice.

The rice was so good that we tried our hardest not to eat a lot of it. Good lord our diets, they're ruined! 128557

The Basil Garlic Chicken was pretty new to me. I loved how subtle the taste was. It went well with the rice which was nice and fluffy.128525

This hearty meal good enough for 2 and a half (because Abby just had soup) costs less than a thousand pesos! Talk about affordable.

The place looked inviting enough. The servers were attentive and gracious enough. The menu looked complete enough. But, that's all she had, looks.

After ordering Pad Thai and Som Nam (Sauteed Shrimps in Roasted Chili Paste) and expecting authentic tasting Thai dishes, I was sadly disappointed. The Pad Thai was soggy and the noodles were very soft, like they were old. It was too sour as well. No choice to adjust the acidity because they already squeezed lime into the mix.

The shrimps were an even bigger disappointment. The picture on the menu showed nice, plump shrimps but what I got were bordering on tiny. Also, told them to adjust the spiciness and they must have taken it to mean, make it bland.

Sad, they have prime location and they won't be able to make use of it if they don't fix their dishes. 128532

One thing is for sure, the servings are super sulit! For P180 you get something good enough for three people.

I ordered their Garlic Rice, Tom-Yum and Lad Na. Authenticity? It's the closest I could get to the real thing! They weren't stingy on the seafood, you had enough shrimps till the next day!

The staff were really nice and accommodating. Too bad their resto was kinda 'out of sight' if you didn't go around the mall you wouldn't know it existed.
