Late post!

Late dinner on a Tuesday night with the husband...

We don't have a particular food in mind we just stroll around then we decide its Japanese night and meat overload 128522 since we both are hungry cause we only had vegetable salad and smoothies for lunch.

We ordered Beef sukiyaki (not able to take pictures) beef teriyaki, Gyu Hireniku (Beef tenderloin), Omu rice and a fruit platter. We had better Japanese foods but still we were able to finish our order since both are starving 128522

Uni Temaki was good, so was their miso soup. House tea won't be offered unless you ask. Wifi was crappy though!

Good food, EXCELLENT service. Servers are very attentive to guest needs. Big thumbs up when they gave Izzy a learner's chopsticks when they saw she was struggling with her sashimi :) :) :). And they were quick to give another pair of chopsticks when Maxine's fell to the floor.

Aside from our usual favorite in any Japanese resto, Salmon Sashimi, we ordered their Gyoza, Gyu Hireniku (beef tenderloin) and Chicken Cheese Roll (deep fried breaded boneless chicken rolled with melted cheese and veggies). All are very filling.

We're adding you, Kimono Ken - Blue Bay Walk branch, in our list of fave and best restos in the metro :)

Food : 4 stars

Their shoyu ramen was alright. I do love that their bowl has generous servings of pork belly unlike the others but overall, I still prefer Hokkaido Santouka's. I didn't enjoy their tempura (ebi and crabstick), couldn't believe Yakimix cooks it better! The omelet rice with chicken and mushrooms was good, same with their beef teriyaki. For drinks, I recommend Kimono Ken's special (mixed fruits), but I suggest you request the ice on a separate glass.

Service: 5 stars

The staff is friendly and accommodating. Didn't take long for our food to arrive, didn't take long to get our bill as well.
